Reposting a question regarding Physical Pierce, Ava stats, and Proto Clarity

Regarding Physical Pierce from Proto Clarity rose for DW:
Which one is better? I got two good avatar stats both of them are on the accessory part.
A. Dex2 Cdmg4 crit rate 3
B. Str2 Physical Pierce 10% crit rate 3
C. Also, is it better to push P. Pierce as close to 100% as possible? With all my other avatars I can push it to 82% without xtals or equip boosting P.Pierce.
Atm, I'm thinking of getting pomie for the second slot, however if things will be better with maxing P.Pierce, is Ultimate Machina okay? Thank you and have a nice day.

 

For your question it is not possible to give a perfect answer as boss def stat in this game vary so greatly to one another, it also depends on if you are full str or full agi, I will assume it is on full str since that is better for proto in general.
I say go for B on avatar if you are just comparing those two stat combos (Both are very close already tbh). Me personally I would prefer stats like ampr/resistance since those are not available through regular equips as much
As for ulti machina goes it really is not that great or worth taking just for the pierce, gwaimol is still the best but I think that is already equipped by you on 1st slot.
Go for ulti mach only if you lack maxMP and would prefer to max it.
The additional 4% pierce is only better if you fight extreme stuff like maton or crystal titan on nightmare mode. For regular event bosses or normal/hard/minibosses it is almost never better.

 

Detailed as always. You're right Im using gwaimol on the first slot and Yes, max str for proto clarity. Im guessing pomie will be a better choice then for the other slot. I do understand that P. Pierce shines the brightest on hi def bosses and does less on norm/hard boss than player crafted ones. However, I won't be using any player crafted weaps until a better stab is released.
