U insulted bows, since bows cant type to defend them selves i gave them a hand to help them retaliate,u really are an idiot if u thought you could trash a class and not get flamed for it

 

Elemental bonus damage is huge specially for a crt type class. More boss/mobs be added soon with high defs, high atk alone might not satisfy you on how you deliver damage on every element. And if youre not countering elements now, you are not maximizing your toon's full damage output potential.

Did you post this solely to start a flame war or, idk why you thought this was a good idea. The bow/bowgun relationship is the best IMO. xbows don't completely overshadow bows like staffs do to MDS.

If you can't see a 25% increase, ur blind. Element arrows are one of bow/xbows greatest advantages(& as a swordie i am very jealous of)

 

After reading your post again i am thinking that you dislike hunter skills more than bows themselves xD
Hunter skills arent meant to do more dps than main shot skills and also usefulness of traps is highly subjective to the boss that you are farming as in theres no point on using sleep trap on a boss that doesnt even move too much.
Aside from that a few more pointers:- With bg its not possible to always kill a mini boss in 3 hits a snipe with lowest stability point and critical has almost the same damage as a snipe non critical but at highest stability point also snipe on bg suffers from -25% critical rate.
So its impossible for bg to always end the boss with 3 snipes but can be possible with bow

 

Lol ya I know they can but being able to use the same sword with different elemental daggers for example would be better

 

Yes a member that paralize, slow, blind boss be very helpfull for tanks. Sadly havent partied with anyone yet i thought those skills dont exist in this game.

 

I specified his mage lol, not mages in general

 

Dunno if no one know this but u can use sunrise arrow to kill nure eyes with it's aoe dmg

Hunter trap skills i beleive are for the tamer class, where you need to lower the mobs hp to capture but not kill it. Theres a capture timer, fills faster the lower the mobs hp is. But you need to be right next to mob for it to fill as well ^^ it explains the healing function. Im a bg user, but mines a dual bow/bg def build. while bow has an arrow bonus. I always assumed bow had a longer ailment duration, where as bg was more a peirce dmg. The devils in the details lol

Yeah but it definitely cant be your main dps skill they can be useful for having as double smited in a single combo. Same goes for other dps skills from knight/shield/dagger tree. Never denied their utility as aoes either. Only buff tree skill being able to be a main dps skill is gatling as it can do more dmg than tempest for 1h

 

And in Iruna the accessory Thimble will add 2.5atk(forgot) for every point of dex. Just dunno if bow user have it here or will soon
