Haha I just came back and realise I remb no one familiar and remb nothing about this game. Took awhile to slowly adapt and try this game. But yeah I came back. Hope u come back soon too so we can play together!

Pretty good ^^/ I picked up 2h yday so I was reading up on 2h guides, had a hard time finding your guide though haha

Imma implementing this on a 1h, u get a legit fencer.

Damage wld be comparable to Gatling knifers, but i'm all for aesthetics.

Though i'll add tempest for the in case no flinch scenario.

Astute > trigger slash (save) > Spiral air/tempest (smite) > Rampage (smite)/ sonic blade (cons)

How about Sonic blade<astute(smite)<trigger(save)<spiral Air(smite)<impact(Consecutive)

2h Motion Speed Spammer (MSS) is a deviation of 1h-fu hybrid sword brawler build. We should start to see this new play-style flood the Toram scene as this is a melee-fighter's best shot to out-DPS Snipers. It's play-style is similar to 1h-fu, where you spam skill non-stop (field test shows better result with 1 normal attack in between combos). You will easily take attacker and breaker rank. Tank rank can't be helped with the aggro these builds creates, which I somewhat dislike as these builds are not really tanking material. This build generates 1k aggro every 4 seconds with no gaps in between. Higher than 800 aggro every 4 seconds generated by 1h-fu, due to higher MP cost. Therefore, we must carry a lot of Revita III or IVs, and we must not expect the tank to keep aggro from us 24/7.

Why spam? Compared to traditional 2h builds which focus on 1 combo, a spammer build focus on flow. The goal is to have your first Astute buff buff the second Astute, creating a chain buff effect. Base crit rate is 25%. Astute buff adds 50%. With Warhelm <Warmonger> adding 16%, this takes us to 91%. Adding Crit-Up's 5%, we are continuously maintaining max crit rate!

Onto the build...

Stat: Full STR, Second stat DEX

Equipment:
Main: Elemental 2h (mine are slotted with mp100s) or *NEW* NPC Fortis blade <Pillar Gilem> for 18% physical pierce
Sub: N/A
Armor: Oracle robe (Roga) or BB Garb (Roga) or Ooze armour (Boss version) or *NEW* Outer world armor
Add: Crystal earring (Warmonger) *NEW* War helm <Warmonger> if you maxed MP Boost
DEX II (Ooze) Muscle II preferred

Bottom line, get all the MP you can, C-rate and C-damage comes second.

Combo: Motion Speed Style:

Astute > Trigger slash (Save) > Spiral air (Smite) > Impact (Consec)

Additional Combo:
Tempest > Astute or Sonic blade (Save) > Impact (Swift)

Mp-saver Combo
Astute > Hard Hit (Consec) > Trigger slash (Consec) > Spiral air (Consec) > Impact (Consec)

It may seem like I am asking you to spam a 200mp combo. No, not exactly. The first cast will cost 200mp, but the Impact will cut the next cast down to a 100mp combo, which turns this into a 100mp skill spammer, with Astute taking absolutely no penalty in any form. That is why we need all the MP we can grab. If by chance the combo is interrupted, we need 200mp to restart.

Skills:
Astute lvl 10
Trigger slash lvl 5 (any higher will cost you your combo, LEAVE IT AT 5)
Spiral air lvl 10
Impact lvl 7+
MP Charge lvl 1
Tempest lvl 10 will be first priority after the above skills are obtained

Passive:
Quick draw lvl 10
HP Boost lvl 10
CRT-up lvl 10
[edit]: Sword technique can wait. MP Boost takes priority. With MP Boost, it frees you from Crystal earrings so you can switch to Warhelm <Warmonger> for Max-Crit spam
Sword Technique lvl 10

DPS build specific info:

DPS build requires Hard Hit and Trigger Slash to be level 10. The attack speed feels a little slower than MSS type, but difference is roughly half a second. Takes a little getting used to if you played MSS type.

Damage on paper is improved 15-20%. Tanking ability is roughly the same as MSS type, but breaking takes a hit without the motion speed buff.

You will have enough SP at lvl 90 to max all MP Passives in Survival Tree, allowing you to spam more combos and spam at max crit rate, refer to gear section for max-crit set up.

I'd also suggest saving 1 SP for lvl 1 Holy fist. For boss that you can't flinch, swap Hard hit with Holy fist. For bosses that you cannot tumble, take out Impact and end all combos with Trigger slash.

I have initially asked @PhongTom and @Neric to start Triple kick (Fighter) Style on a new thread as I feel that build deserves its own glory, but they have convinced me that their wonderful creation belongs to the same school of thought. March 21, 2016, I'm officially changing this guide to include their creation, and together, we will continue the study of 2h spam style and continue to improve 2h competitiveness.
