Did anyone tried to went for it?
STR>Int Based build?

 

i did, in theory

if you are just aiming for the extra atk, AGI offers more benefits.
you need a specific build, focused around Punish Ray, Poison Knife, Chronos Drive and additional magic.

 

How much when compared with both armor and halberd on?

I believe it doesn't have such stat?

 

I'm thinking if the ATK UP(INT) will have 2x effect. But according to coryn club, it doesnt
at 200 INT it gives around 440 Additional ATK
440 x 2? maybe?

dunno, cant test this, I did not bother doing the Xmas Event plus, wiped everything(characters, equip, etc) in my account so.

 

can anyone confirm if it really does double the amount of attack added while both armor and spear on?

 

This is weapon you are meaning. I have dabbled in a build. With this weapon and sacred ice armor you do get 2 atk per point of INT, but im starting to see how it just going to be a bit impractical and as Red Fox stated, it gives just about the same amount AGI would to ATK without the other benefits AGI has to offer (aspd, flee, oddly enough AGI gives Halberd and only halberd 1 matk per point lol). INT side benefits are just teeny bit of extra MP and MDEF. This also takes away what other gear can offer to halberdier without having to be a niche type. Halberd also seems to get only fair to little amount of MATK per INT. I may still play around until I decide to scrap it. It would be fun to cast finale with a spear but..guess I can dream lol

 

I think it has int on it cause this "ice line up" weapon is the type of wepon that gives acces to int compromising the weapon type. Check out the other weapon that is lined up on this weapon.it also gives some bonuses if u have int on ur stat.Means whether ur a mage or not, u will gain some advantages if u have int stat. Maybe its for the class free system purpose.

 

Both Sacred Ice Armor and Sacred Ice Spear give Atk Up Int (100%). Sacred Ice Claws give ATK up Str (100%); perhaps useful for Brawler Agi/Str build? Sacred Ice Katana gives ATK up Agi (100%); perhaps impractical, though I've come to find out recently katana only weapon other than halberd where AGI increase Matk 1 per point..hm. Sacred Ice Staff gives MATK up STR (100%) which I can see working with a full STR staff fu/caster hybrid build possibly..interesting and cool to think about.
