servers down..?

    2, without knowing the issue, how can you say they aren't doing all they can?
    3, just play something else for now, like everyone else. It'll be up when it's up

    Lets get real. They are going to take 1 week or so...so next tuesday or sth.. and for them to just say "we are closing server because we couldnt find the issue" is very unlikely.
    They clearly have backups and international server is very crucial for them in profiting their wealth as a gaming company.
    If they for somewhat reason announce that they will close the server then only japanese people can play which is a drastic decrease in their profit. There are only so much whom can play and donate money to Asobimo in Japan alone.

    They could clearly create a new Server as an International then copy the backups of Players to that new one. Won't take long.. i mean.. why else would they be running Japanese server fine. They just need a little more time or they might be waiting for a technition on the weekends or something.

    If perhaps they do make a new server and have no backups, they would have already told us sooner or other VERY unlikely reasons. This is not possible though...where do u think we are living in?.. 1999? No.. It has millions of downloads and updates frequently. They are doing it as we speak in Jp Server (toram.jp). This tells us they have different teams dedicated in their vast variety of games and servers. Which also tells us that they have a secure base line of running their company with a good enough trustworthy tasks. This means it is a good thing that they dont abandon their teams work and all invest in fixing this problem we ae facing. Therefore .. as u might know.. will take TIME.

    Nowadays, Games ( especially mobile games ) have intense competition as u might know and for a Millions downloaded app with Editors Choice on Google AppStore to just betray their customers by saying "sry.. we dont have backup" or "sorry..we cant fix server" when jp server is up is just being dishonest. You wont get away with that untrustful behavior nowadays.

    Ive spent more than 400hours and donated alot to Asobimo. I hardly play any other games but this on my spare time. Im saying this because Im at a position just like you at the moment, disapointed but love the game.
    No need to panic, they are going to launch it up and that is inevitable. Just do your work or studies while u wait ^^.

    Actually Google does/will care because they are are attaching their name to a brand when they make a game "editor's choice" and what can only be called an utter lack of customer service is not something they care to be synonymous with and the issue has surpassed downtime and is now lack of customer service and communication. "Uppity gamer brats" (or people who expect a certain lvl of service) are their best clients.

    Hm... sad the servers are down, suffering from Toram withdrawal, but at least I'm reminded to give some time to my other games...and studying...yup, definitely studying...

    what you fail to realize is that aso is working on the issue. u just want them to hold your hand and guide you through it, yes like a little brat. Its not poor customer service. It's poor customer relations. And as if things aren't hard enough on them, you have even more butthurt little kids trying to crash the japan server now. It's all so sad. Let the grown-ups work and actually pay attention in school for a few days until everything is fixed.

    you can assist without informing. As long as problem gets fixed, customer service has done their job. they don't need to make YOU feel secure.

    We will perform a maintenance from March 7th 2:00 PM (JST/GMT+9).

    We are still working hard to resolve the issues with the connection to our game server that has been occurring since dawn, March 2, 2019 (Saturday).

    Since we are currently performing an overall system restoration, some of the contents of our maintenance have also changed.

    Now their lastest post, that IS customer service, not the greatest news but how things should have been handled from day one. An explanation of issue, confirmation that private data was not leaked, and a time table for expected resumption of services. Better late than never.

    I doubt it too to a degree. ...but maybe someone somewhere who is like hey dev, you see this post on a forum related to your game? Yeah, it's...(inserts conversation that ensues) ...sigh and even now I still can't login despite just updating. I saw the notice too...so I got to wait till the 12th now I think?

    smfh the only obligation they had was to say if data got leaked. everything else is just shit you WANTED. stop actin like the devs need to repay you for playing their game ._.

    If a game keeps you in the dark why should we care about it? It's common f**"ing courtesy and why people f***ing hate EA, which has all this stuff wrong with a game, throws it down, and you have to find out on your own what's f***ed up and how to fix it. Don't be retarded
