Nah, while it might lessen the amount of tuyuls, the fact that its stil exploitable doesnt change. What could be better than making profit out of nothing? The problem roots from the fact that these items are tradeable. The gambling or the RNG of the orb items chests is a different matter altogether. A sure-orb items wont change the fact that you can make transactions out of these items. Even for avatars, you can make a way to the in-game market with the avatar recycle and stargem system. The re-rolling concept isnt a new thing, this is mostly used in gacha games where you re-roll accounts and use the freebies to get the card that you want.

So its either they remove/change the rewards from the emblem or, make all microtransaction properties unavailable to be traded by any sort of in-game feature

Yes, they should remove the emblems for beginners and encourage the legitimate purchase of orbs. But this, means that the game would become a pay2win game that way. So I think the best way is to also increase rewards from event emblems, and make piercers untradeable. Of course many would oppose to this idea but from the perspective of the dynamic of the game, its feasible. People would make new accounts still but they would be much more controllable

 

To be honest whatever gets us back in game fastest I’m OK with the outcome I’ve been playing Ragnarok M and it’s just not the same. This game is the closest MMO as far as options go to Star Wars galaxies I have ever played. As long as they never add classes I will play the game until the servers sun set. Because ultimately all MMO’s come to an end regardless of how much money you spend. Best you can do is enjoy it while you can. Plus they don’t want to lower their stock with the fan base with Avabel Lupinus on the horizon.

It honestly depends on the person. Obviously, someone who logs into Toram once every few weeks just to chat and did the bulk of their playing last year wouldn't feel anything at all. In contrast, people who've worked hard the past 3 months, whaled, and were really active get hit the hardest. I happen to be in the latter group. I also happen to be in the latter group who was training an ultimate tank pet and those are notorious for taking endless amounts of time, luck, and effort to raise. I'd be losing double if not triple the amount of said time, luck, and effort not only for my character but my pet as well. So yeah, excuse me for throwing my copy of Toram in the trash, hounding the staff until I at the very least get a refund, and never touching the game again when their servers aren't stable enough to even let me keep the fruits of my labour for more than a week.

Even though it has been a few years since my last MMORPG, I have played quite a few of them. I can acknowledge that they have a limited lifetime either due to poor decisions or bad sales. This wouldn't be the first time that I poured hours into a game that ultimately didn't last. The difference there is that I DID get my money and time's worth out of it back then. If I spend a few months getting a character up to standards, I expect a good while of fun out of it afterwards. No one commits to something so strongly knowing that everything would be gone the next week because of the company's inability to detect or avoiding fixing a bug that's been in their system for 3 months. The reason why we don't hear of rollbacks this massive happening to other games is because they're not supposed to happen in the first place. Heck, most people have the luxury of launching into giant tirades of complaints just for an hour of rollback in other franchises. I don't want to play a game where the staff come off as incompetent to me.

Which is just sad, because I agree that Toram is (or was) one of the most impressive mobile MMORPGs out there. Let's cross our fingers and hope that they manage to recover the data and my paragraphs of rants don't come to fruition.

Man could asobimo just rollback and give us reward how many time he want for this? 5 months or what?

 

My favorite game is Modern Toram-fare. Where you run around getting 360 No-Scoped by TBD. Then TBD comes up to you and starts Teabagging you while saying this is what they do to your mom.
Ps. TBD is an eleven year old boy...

 

They were too busy spending their time adding new avatar skins every day for some quick bucks rather than actually troubleshooting their own glitches and bugs.

 

It's not 11 year old boy it's a giant alien with one big flat hand that smacks you to the earth with the flat of its palm from the top of your head. With long saggy balls cause they have no need for clothes. How the alien looks is up to you. Mine is between a meeseks and predator.
