Several pet questions

1 What causes affinity to decrease? I just usually feed better food to get it back.

2 What ways can you create a pet to be as strong or stronger than it's monster mob counterpart? Does it involve pet fusion or can it be achieved without fusion?

3 What can one do with a pet that isn't wanted any more? What are the options?

 

1. Hunger (more time "hungry", decreasing affinity) and Giving Life Potions to a pet to restore its stamina
2.well it depends on your definition of "stronger", if you want higher lvl cap and better stats, either tame with careful capture lv10 or feed a stray pet on land (stray pet lv cap = highest lv of your character)
3.Release it, or make it as a "Lab Rat" if you are curious about pets, or hibernate it if you think it'll be useful someday.

 

hunger. food lasts 8 hours, regardless of quality. once the time is up, affinity decreases by 5% every 4 hours.

depends on the mob.
raffies can appear as stray pets on your land, which always have the highest level of your characters.
for normal capture, you get a little boost with the passive skills.

release or let it stay on your land for decoration.
