Shield mage better or arrow mage?

I actually have a debate for this >:3 luk mage ^^ we're so squishy we're justified taking shield over arrow

 

P.ava i think is one thing i can answer to your question, at longer run, you need to build up more hp, and many players noticed it now, having 5k-ish hp is not enough now, and besides bosses more often spam skill now adays, most probably you will accept many spammable skill that the boss thrown to you while casting finale,and u will ending up saying "why me?" after dying.
Include the buffs of course.Having more damage on arrow mage? Yeah right.
But many bloggers said this and i will say it again."Dead players won't/can't deal damage"
