You don't need to start from zero if you always cap your pet during fusion. The fused pet may came out lacking but the pet power gained by fusion stays. You just need a skill donor on the next fusion to make up the lost time. Just make sure to cap the level and the skill level of your skill donor and you may carry that skill through a lot of fusions later.

 

About pet fusion, I did fused 100 pets(raffy lv1) and that work.



So here imagine if you somehow can max 100 pets to level 140 with 30 power each one of them :
100x30 = 3k power

With only 100~200 power pet can deal 100k damage skill, how about 3k power?
(Imo, i would say 300k damage is possible for sure)

 

Wow, that is a lot of fusions! how much is the cost on the 100th fusion? Does it goes up as you continue or it got a stopping point?

 

Fusing lv1 pets(0% discipline) cost 0spina(free)
It costs spina only if you combine with pet that already 100% discipline(or above lv1).

 

Oh! It is a great idea to stack power before you stack levels. So more level a pet have, more it costly the fusion?

Afaik Yeah, but i have only fusion 4 times(on main pet that lv70+) and that was really cheap.
Still need someone that has fusion 10x or even more to ask the prices at that point.

 

Now that you confirmed it,(of sorts) i find it odd on my fusions. My manticore which reached 7th that have lvl 97 cap cost around 14k-ish iirc. And my stone pet 6th fusion at lvl 76 cap costing 4k-ish(again iirc since grinding so much hurts my brian too). Dont quite add up, if the cost is increased by the genration.

If that is the case, it will change a lot of my pet grinding habits and basically just choose a max level that i am comfortable with and keep stacking as is(capping level 100 pets at bexis sucks!) If only i have a capable trainer char to do the job.

Its more likely about both levels you want to fusion. I do believe generation affect it but not much(i could be wrong).


Here i try to fusion lv1 pet(fusion : 108) with lv72 pet(fusion : 4), its 784 as cost. (I didn't hit the fusion button ofc)


And then its 756 for lv1 pet(fusion : 108) with lv71 pet(fusion : 0).


While for lv71 pet(fusion : 0) with lv72 pet(fusion : 4) cost 2044 spina.


The spina i need to fusion 5th generation was more expensive than 113th generation due of higher level pets.

 

So i need to fuse lvl 1 pet until im bored. . Then only fuse with main pet?

 

I can't say that because first i don't know the difference between fusing [100 pets at lv1] and fusing [100 pets at lv max].

It could be some huge difference in term of stats, bonus, damage or something that i don't know.

But if there is no difference then yes fuse as much as you want before you start to build your main pet.
(Also i don't know the max number of fusion).

 

Asobimo clearly stated that even the counter for fusion is stuck at 999 tops. The is absolutely no limit to how many times a pet can be fused.

Meaning, if you fuse a pet a million times; the counter stays at 999 because it only got 3 digits to count.(infinite power, comes from infinite fusion grinding!)

No. Fusing level 1 pet is free. You can stack 10k level 1 pet and it would still be free.

However you wouldn't get there by fusing many lvl 1's. Reasons:

1. Max pet attack is now capped to 2x player's max level
2. With only a max pet level of 2, your pet wouldn't last long during a boss fight. And there's no way to revive pets during battle

 

Proration is bad, then again it is an old vid. Manta could have done better if the summoner use staves. Or the summoner used magic pet like cassy.

 

... show me a screen of your own pet reaching 300k+ dmg!
The most my magic pet (470int, 250power, lvl 7 lance) did (with good proration and element advantage) was 184k. Magic pets are more reliable (i.e. cannot miss) but the dmg is a lot less.
My best physical pet did around 180k raging blows which was somewhat disappointing, but I only recently realized it was Steady type (-100crit) so was never been able to crit! My glow ray is back in training now but with Proactive type. Its 500% attack animation makes it fly everywhere, with no skill delay, so I hope it'll be fine avoiding aoe's naturally...

 

My stone pet is mediocre. Can only dish out 100k on lapin, since it is a vampire with 5k hp it can survive on it's own even while im down and being revived by mercs (apparently it happens quite often, getting screwed with rouge aoe mid combo sucks) i havent had the chance to grind new fodders yet since im buisy irl and barely online before i literally fall asleep. I really hope i can survive this comming purdge, and hope to have the time to grind to 150.
