Should Toram implement ID number?

i noticed in Iruna you can now pick whichever name you want, but you are assigned an ID number so people can still discern one from the other. Should Toram do this? One of the big things that whether I play a game or not depend on which name I can give my character, and I was just wondering if any other people liked the concept. Half the taken usernames are from people who don’t play anymore.

 

Didn't they implement some mechanism that would make the usernames of players, who were inactive for a long period (e.g. 6 months) of time, available again?

 

No that was a one time username wipe, which was a year ago.

Would be difficult to keep track of players who like to change their names a lot. As well as the common name theft.

There's always the unique character code to get the name you want, but then again that screws up formatting.

 

The chat will be a complete mess with [insert recent popular isekai anime main character name]

I guess it would be a bit chaotic. But I trust people have originality.
