Simple question about Blacksmith, Stats from equipment

example your have blacksmith to make armor,,,
your stat full vit (ex: 182)
that mean +18 potential right.

then, you equip some equipment:
1. any weapon slot with stat (Vit+6 & Vit+2 Xtal) = Vit+8
2. any armor slot with stat (Vit+6 & Vit+2 Xtal) = Vit+8
3. Green wyvern cape slot (Vit+5 & Vit+2 xtal) = Vit+7
4. Stamina tals II slot (Vit+4 & Vit+2 xtal) = Vit+6

so, now Vit are: 182 + 8 + 8 +7 + 6 = 211 Vit Total

and my question...
did stats from equipment also affected on getting more potential ???
and when we success on made some p.arm, that mean we get P.arm with 40+ pot right (19 from base + 21 from pot + some from careful creation)???

 

Lol you're a smart thinker, yes indeed that happens and you can get over 20 pot with it but atm the gears we can make have a cap at lower pot so we're only using 150-180

 

nope already tried this in Alpha and Beta. The pot is based on your Main stat. Bonus stats are not included not unless they changed the rule in the official release.

 

okay, thats answered my question...
im asking this question, cause some sword,bowgun, and staff blacksmith get pot over 40... while armor seldom getting 40++
as we can see, their's blacksmith equipment may share with their dps archer, dps warrior or mage stat...

 

They are probably crafting an equipment with high based pot + 19-21 pot. eg. warbowgun base pot 23 + 19-20 pot = 42-43
