    Anybody knows the skill multiplier and skill constant of Imperial Ray?

    Imperial ray calculations can be like burst (int+ and int% eq not works), anyone have the numbers? (0)

    not sure if it was this update or some time ago, but trap skills got a little update:
    if you hold the movement button while placing a trap, you'll quickly slide 5m in that direction immeadiately.
    this is a little longer distance than evasion, executes faster and doesn't consume charges.

    It's bow exclusive it seems
    It's a pretty nice execution tbh. It has a slower startup than backstep but you can roll in any direction so it's kinda nice

    all traps. you must hold the movepad during the skill animation.
    the damage of sleep trap appears to be higher than before. (1+ compared to 0,5+ before).
    still not worth to consider as actual attack, haven't gotten to the other traps yet.
    any weapon can use it.
    but it doesn't exceed your movement capabilities. the roll distance and speed is equal to the distance you would have crossed if you didn't stop to place a trap.
    still useful, though. you no longer lose momentum when using traps.

    Not just damage, actual utility in a battle. I like prep style combat but if a boss is just gonna resist the trap that I can't put in a combo, that just means MP wasted.

    Also, is the evade ability bow specific or can bowgun evade too?

    Are you sure about that? I tried Ohs sub arrow, Staff sub arrow and knuckle sub arrow but I could just roll when I had my bow on. Didn't test Bowgun cuz I don't have one

    i have a bowgun. i was sure that i also rolled with the staff, but i'll check again, just in case...

    edit:
    ok, the roll is exclusive to bow/bowgun. it also works without arrow, but arrow by itself cannot roll.
    naturally this is not mentioned anywhere in-game and i only discovered it by accident.

    little damage test for Sleep Trap on Lv1 Raffy

    unarmed, no arrow - 259matk: up to 42 damage, 16%
    unarmed, with arrow - 259matk, 189dex: up to 440 damage, 169%
    staff, no arrow - 753matk: up to 89 damage, 11%
    staff, with arrow - 753matk, 189dex: up to 944 damage, 125%

    last time i used traps and ragequit, Sleep Trap did only ~50% damage even with dex.
    Bear Trap was twice as strong, but still not worth the double cost.
    Land Mine was 20 times as strong, but most of it came from the constant rather than the multiplier.
    haven't acquired the other traps yet, hopefully they also got stronger...
