Pulled this out from June's guide since I feel Black-smiting deserves a better guide lol.

This is the small Guide I will Build up for those looking forward to their Blacksmiths life. xDD

Stats (STR, VIT, DEX, INT, AGI)
Will increase the chance of obtaining higher Potential Value on crafted gear(weapons) and Armors(Vit mandatory).

    Tech

Will increase Difficulty Level (Stat required to produce higher level gear = higher gear requires higher difficulty level[Proficiency on how easy will be to craft sht to unlock)

    Anvil's

Will increase your chances to successfully craft something(2 Anvil's available so far, = 20% I guess, since each is 10 level maybe 1% per lvl {speculation})
    [IMG] [IMG]

    Item Level Difficulty

This is the stat required to be able to craft stuff, higher the amount higher chance to succeed on crafting something, also, even if you fail it might not generate negative stats on a weapon or armor, depending on your Proficiency level. EXAMPLE : Failed but weapon came with +1 Slot, +4 Potential and +2 Dmg, but it failed, oh snap, your proficiency level was higher than the max requirement for a 80-100% success rate. Weird sht, for sure.

    Blacksmith/Synthesis Proficiency
Will unlock available receipts for crafting, and increase success rate on crafting and upgrading stats on gear) This is the lil bar that increases in level as you craft gear whether you fail or succeed.

    Potential
This Will allow you to Upgrade higher tier stats (STR,DEX,VIT, %, ASPD, Elemental dmg, etc etc) depending on the weapon tier and potential level, which increases with your STAT points(DEX, VIT, STR, AGI, INT).

I Will keep updating, as I see this thought.

It actually depends on you Manhcuongdo, because, I don't think its a good idea mixing your main char with a crafter, better make them separate chars.

Thank you for a very helpful guide.

    Question !
how do u distribute ur stat ? to be able to craft all types of weapon , do we have to equally distribute the stat point STR, VIT, DEX, INT, AGI ?

Hello, so based on your info, it seems tech is only good for raising difficulty level but nothing else. Am I wrong? Or it actually also increases your success rate to create, refine, and upgrade something? I know the game description says it is good for creating something.

Basically, doing a lot hella theorycraft and many success fails crafts I ended up with 1 conclusion.

Tech = Increases Success rate(based if you don't have a high lvl of proficiency[crafting lvl]).
Increases successful chance to include stats on a gear.
Increases chances to not fail while Refining a gear(+1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8)

Nothing more. If you have a high lvl proficiency you wont need Tech to craft stuff. I am stuck at Lvl 83 Proficiency, and still fail miserably crafting stuff. But, I am pulling +9-10 Potentials, +1-2 Slots, +7-9 Atk increase.

While on my Tech Smith I am pulling +6-7 Crit, +6-7% Crit Rates +6-7 Crit Dmg and stuff without failing. Which I love.

Thats my current conclusion, Ill wait for l8r on updates, to update this guide, as it is, thats all I can provide you info with.

So If I wanted to create mage specific bs then I should level up vit, int, and tech? Which is more important would you say?

I'm guessing if I level up int and vit, my proficiency will increase faster but if I go tech then the proficiency increase will be lower?
If I wanted to craft good armor and staff then should I invest all in tech? or is int and vit needed to bs staff and armor?

Just trying to see what to level up for best gear stat outcome without fail but high level equips.

Tech raise difficulty which allow u to make high level eq with low proficiency. So, u can raise the proficiency lvl faster by crafting high lvl eq but investing too much in tech will cause u craft eq with small potential. The best eq that can be craft is with max the main stat but that make itharder to raise proficiency lvl. (CRAFTING)

Mmm k. I decided to make 3 different chars for blacksmith. One vit, one int, and the last one tech.

Got my vit to level 43. Time to farm more. Soo hard to level them up.

I believe you are given 3 but you can open more slots via orb. Just make friends with random people and you will get shards quickly once past 30 friends

Wow.. Blacksmithing really is confusing. Im still in the process of trying to wrap around my mind on how the process works.. I guess im having problems with absorbing this information bec. i havent tried it yet. Im trying to do my research about blacksmiths first before i make a new character.. Is it possible if you could share the specific stat build for both ur tech smith as well as ur other BS that has proficiency lvl of 83? Please. Thanks in advance..:))

No it doesn't. It will only be gone if you delete your character.

Anyone knows how much % of success rate is added when allocating equipment custom stats that goes beyond potential? How much for every TEC point/s?
