Snipe Dmg on Pure Archers?

yeah thats why im planning to experiment with str based build . its cons is animation speed for power shot.

when i was using snipe with staff, its doesnt show red bars (casting time). i dont know whether it also applied for bows and bowguns, because i only tested w staff.

yeah too bad. i also guess so. the bar is vanished but i still feel its quicker than normal snipe with bow.

basically snipe skill is like p.shoot,
Bow supposed to be higher chance to do break while Bowgun have higher damage output.

 

Can't confirm. But would wager a guess that bow guns will hit for higher damage (+4ATK stat growth). While archers will hit for lower Max damage, but with greater regularity (snipe's guard break debuff triggering)

In a boss battle running any worthwhile length of time, I would wager a pretty balanced affair with the win going to the better gears

Gunners access to sub weapons and their corresponding skill trees could wreck this contest for archers a bit (in house skills seem adequate though)

Cool. For highest one shot damage
-smite
-long range, shot mastery
-attack up, smash, crit up
-war cry and brave aura (bring a friend)
-element (arrow perhaps), crit damage, atk/dex (I think that's the correct priority for this instance)
Haven't tried any new bows- they may trump player crafted. IDK

I am still trying to figure this out too Kariin, the highest I have hit is about 40k with level 10 snipe and a fw bow, I have no xtals equipped though and my bow is atk 28+4 with just dex stats added. I also use feather cape slotted but have not filled the slot yet and theboss drop fw armor so my atk speed is high but don't really have any atk stats added. I think if I used spikey bandana and some dex or crit armor and added xtals it would probably help. I do have level 10 crit, level 5 atk up and smash. Idk how much those help really though.

 

I will have to check on the charge time for the lvl 10 snipe when I get off work, I use the Feather cape just so I can attack faster to get my mp back up, lol but I think if I wanted to do more damage I would switch to the Spikey Bandana, and I need to get a slot Dex 2, and some xtals to use since the only ones I have are just dex +2s lol

 

He found out that, all skill damage multiplier is related with your normal attack damage.

And it seems you already got the point.
Basically Bow will never better DPS than Bowgun, because
1. DEX growth, Bow: 1dex = 3p.atk while Bowgun: 1dex = 4p.atk
2. Skill multiplier, Bow increase Break chance ~25% while Bowgun increase damage ~25%.
Those are the conclusion I get.

 

It is possible to hit the 40k mark with a normal boss drop forest wolf bow. I've tested this on mine and seen some nice numbers on various bosses. Would definitely recommend 10 points into it as the cast time reduces to 0.8'secs if I'm not mistaken and pretty much saves you from death especially if you dont have a huge hp pool.

ummmm...actually i used BG ( with perhaps little bit different for skill build compare with pure AR ) but i switch with my FWB boss ver,with FV Xtall,and normal crit will be 20-25 K,rarely can get 35-38k crit ( test on WAR )
my combo is PS>Snipe Sm> Bull con
