solo boss hunt

Is it posible u can get a rare boss drop if u hunt boss alone?? Thx

make sure u break all parts

 

Make a party, at least take 1 of the top ranks for additional drops.
Soloing wont help you grow.

 

i had the same problem with the excavated golem boss.
when i finally learned how to break, my character was too strong to break all parts, so i had to change my weapon to do less damage.
for the golem and crystal boss, i always fight alone, because a party is too strong and the boss dies before the parts can be broken.

and the most important information:
how to break - you must use an attack that makes the target flinch, then a "break" will occur for a short time.
the nearest breakable part will show up as a white circle with the word "tap".
you have to tap the circle multiple times until you get the "break" icon showing up.
if the circle is red, the part is already broken.

the boss info screen shows you how many party are breakable, each part raises the exp and chance to get a certain item.

 

Does breaking really help drop or is it a mere superstition?
I got 3 warmonger xtals, and all of it was from fast kill.
2 of it was from top dps.

I still believe in fast boss kill. More boss kill per unit of time, more items gathered.

 

i read in some boss guide that you also get extra chances from ranking rewards and killing the boss within a certain time limit.
but for the golem, i never got the equipment unless i broke the corresponding parts.

Welcome and I've gotten more rare drops from fast party kills as well.

 

But theres a posibility to get rare drop if u fight boss alone like eerie?

 

Ofc., but in a party you can get a rare item twice after kiling one.
I have encountered this a couple times already. Looted 2 armors from warmonger, 1 from top rank and 1 from chest. The same happened while I was fighting RG.

 

It's not only using flinch skills that cause break,topple does it too.

To be honest, it's easier to spina farm to get items you want. Less drama and stress if those items you want don't drop.

 

today i fought Gespenst with my Knight Character and the Shield Bash ability (inflicts stun) is really great for breaking.
when the boss is stunned it can't move, so you can walk around it to break the part on the back and it won't turn around until the effect ends.

 

100% drop if you use ultimate gem.

 

True, a guildmate of mine was looking for a fcape 1s, and so was I. She took the arco for 2 weeks and I farmed spina for 2 weeks. In the end, she didnt get anything while I have bought 1 using my farmed spina hekhek

 

It's sometimes the best thing to do.

 

Welcome! I've had luck doing solo and had some good drops. Is better in a party for extra rewards. Good luck hunting :3
