Some ques

1) What is better for staff (using Finale as main and maaaybe occasional burst) :
Int%10 matk%10 int20/21 Cspd+20% or
Int%10 matk%10 int20/21 Dex+..(whatever the number is) %.

2) The new buff for phantom,
Is it worth it to use at lvl 10?
If so, it needs phantom at lvl 10 yes, but what bout storm reaper (that actually buffs it)? Lvl 1 is nuff or lvl 10 too?
On that note, should l have spinning slash at lvl 5 or 10?

3) ...Do dw (need to) use sword skills -w-; )? First 3, hard hit, astute and trigger :v ?

 

2. PS will still be considered as placed skill when you canceled the invicibility, so i think this intended to boost DS damage when you avoid being hitted, not for SC replacement. Tho you can use it as long range main dps when you can't get near the monster at all

 

Oh no no, not replace sc @-@) as a secondary or even tertiary dps skill (if SR is needed at 10 to utilize this boost fully) SC will be main ofc

cspd% only boost base cspd gained by level, dex and agi. cspd from equipment is unaffected.
dex% is only better than dex+ when you have more than 100 points on dex. if you do, it will not only boost cspd but also matk and hit rate.

the cspd boost from dex% is lower than cspd%, but you also get a little matk and hit.
the difference is not very significant on Finale, though, so i would use the one that costs less.

I would have around 260+ Int, 210+ dex and around 30 vit ._.) So that fits the criteria..
As for cspd?
..well..l dont think I need it for finale -w-) l prefer somewhat matk gain than cspd, as l would be having 2k+ cspd anyway..

hard hit if you want/need flinch, but since DS has a tumble skill it's not a must.

astute is quick and cheap, good for combos as the duration can last for the entire combo and not just the next skill.
saves the need for critical rate on gear or can bypass critical resistance.
but punish ray is better for proration and works at range. so there are alternatives.

trigger slash for ampr is not really necessary, as shawdowstep has the same effect. (you can't stack them either, since both effects disappear on the next skill used)
the motion speed buff on the next skill can still be used, but i don't know how much it matters for DS.
i won't speed up auto-attacks, though.

i never had tier4 DS skills, so i have no idea what is different now.
there's no rule of thumb either, since some skills do scale their buff duration and/or power with skill level and some don't.
