Spear support

I’m trying to make an aion style chanter. I want to do support and halberd dps. Too new to know much about it. Just sounds fun. I like heals but hate standing back until a tank needs help. I loved playing support in other games, where I’d be dps until the main healer needed a hot here and there. Just looking for opinions on my build. I know the game is set up so that I should have a staff but that’s a bit too boring for me. I made a new toon alongside a friend that made a tank to lvl up together. Now the sever has been down all weekend so nothing has really happened yet. It was fun for the one night I was doing it heh.

 

Halberd... support? My, that's an odd combo if I've ever seen one. Halberd (spear) relies on str for damage. Bless relies on Int for healing. The aura heals from the support skill tree discourage attacking head on since they're canceled as soon as you get hit and take a lot of mp to cast. Mini heal isn't all that great on any player that isn't a tank. I don't know how you could work this, honestly. I love playing support and I main a halberd, so I'll be very excited (and confused) if you somehow manage to make this work lol
