Star Gems: Need to knows.

Star Gems:
Star Gems let you use a skill without using SP.
You can make star gems by recycling avatars.
Top = 100 Shards
Bottom = 25 Shards
Accessory = 7 shards

Shards are needed to make Star Gems.
100 shards = 1 random star gem of lvl 1 skill
1000 shards = 1 star gem of lvl 1 skill of your choice

You can fuse two star gems of the same skill to level it up.
E.x. 2 Lvl 1 Astute can be fused to make Lvl 2 Astute, Lvl 1 Astute and Lvl 2 Astute can fuse to lvl 3 Astute.
Lvl 4 Astute and Lvl 3 Astute can fuse to Lvl 7 Astute.

Once a Star Gem skill reaches level 10, it can be evolved to the skill next to it.
e.x. Sword Mastery can be evolved to Quick Slash, Quick Slash can be evolved to Warcry or Sword Technique.

Star Gems have cost.
Cost is based on Lvl tier of the skill.
e.x. Hard Hit costs 1 because it is in Sword Skills Lvl 1. Warcry costs 3 because it is in Sword Skills Lvl 3.

Star Gems can be traded in the future.

If you equip a Star Gem with a skill you have already maxed, the level will not stack.
e.x. if you equip Lvl 1 Astute Star Gem when you have Astute maxed, it will do nothing.

Estimated Average amount of Shards to Get 3rd Column Skills:
using sure way to get a skill, 1000 shards.
10,000 shards to make a maxed 1st column skill.
100,000 shards to make a maxed 2nd column skill.
1,000,000 shards to make a maxed 3rd column skill.

Important update:
As of dec 26, prior to the dec 22 patch, when star gems became tradable on CB. Some players experienced Star Gems stacking with current skills. Same with me because i had experienced lvl 5 star gems of Dual Sword Control Mastery, Twin slash and Cross Parry stacking with lvl 5 learned skills. Making it look appear as thought they are level 10. I had assumed this when Star Gems were released and this appeared to me as a confirmation of my assumption.

Now just this morning, @Alzarith informed me that his lvl 5 moeba shot from star gem did not stack with his lvl 5 moeba shot that he learned in the skill tree. As soon as reading this, i checked my DW char and saw my stats dropped. Also testing on atk up on my katana with lvl 5 atk up learned. They didnt stack anymore. I also received confirmation on this from several players who experienced stacking star gems.

This may be a bug or devs changed it without prior notice.

I already submitted a report to asobimo as well as some friends. So that they can look in to the matter.

So its basically like star abilities in iruna... but dang its more PTW tha iruna's star abilities

 

its more of a fad rather than an advantage. you needa hella spend on avas or have tons of avas saved to make 1m shards to make a 3rd column skill, note its 3rd COLUMN, not lvl 3 skill since some skills like sword tech are third column skills.

 

You can only equip only one gem right...?

 

it depends. i have only 4 max cost.
so i can equip 4 lvl 1 skills or, 2 lvl 2 skills or, one lvl 3 and one lvl 1 skill

 

i got astute lv1.
my sword char already has astute lv10,
my other chars can't use it because they don't have swords.
and my sword char can't use it either because you can't use the same skill twice

i love it~
this won't ruin the game any time soon

Why do mmorpgs always do this? The devs get a plenty of money from the game already, but then they come up with new schemes to make more money. Toram is going to turn into Order and Chaos.

how? because you dont invest in a game some people will invest in just to get stronger? dont blame the game, blame the player.

Star gem really not gonna make the game p2w everyone needs to chill.
I dont think anyone has enough avas to get 1m shards right now so its a waste of money to invest on, maybe after it becomes tradeable it might be a different with people buying it, it can become a way to earn spina through orbs just like piercers/gems. If anything it would just be the same as 2s piercers if people can play without 2s stuff then they can sure play without star gems.
