Stuck in a bind

Hey y'all, I'm not sure but I think I might have screwed the pooch.

So I've been playing for just over a month, started off as a halberd class, and for a while I thought I was doing ok. But recently I've been struggling incredibly, even through the main quest even at level 106. I've been reading some posts here and trying to follow along but it's proven to be a bit difficult.
My HP meter is decent, but I don't do much damage. I also think both my skills and stats aren't exactly well placed, they're kind of all over the place. Still a bit clueless to the whole refining aspect, and I've noticed a few scammers ingame so I haven't bothered asking anyone there, I've just been using a random halberd that clearly isn't endgame.

Any idea what I should do, or should I just start over? This is my only character so I can't really transfer things over if that's a thing. Anything would be appreciated ^^

 

You could just make another char.
Most players on average have around 3characters minimum.

Where on Main quest are stuck on as a Lv106? o.o Also, go to Menu > Character > Switch Character. You should have 3 available charater slots already if you're Lv 106..

 

I'm actually finished the main quest, only because I had a mercenary with me. Couldn't do it by myself.
Yeah, I see the slots. Just gonna go ahead and make a new character. Thanks y'all!
