Super detailed 1h swordsman guide with important/useful infos(27/oct/2015)

after 1000 ASPD, at 1100/1150 the green bar disappears, and from what i heard and confirmed with a known tester and player, at the moment the max ASPD is 1300.

and it does change, do a test on it and you will be surprise.

which also sums up to, without a feather cape its kinda hard to get there, unless the player uses a BD sword.

 

I do test @1000aspd, Every 3 normal attacks you will still see green bar loaded.
And having @1150 all green bar fully disappear.
I don't know what 1300aspd will given, I shall try it next time.

 

Cap attack interval is 1100 for now, any exceed aspd points after that is added into atk motion speed % increase

 

Im pretty sure usage of potions is useless for main bosses, since game will always cleared any buffs ure having once u enter bosses battle... ofc if u wanna afford a stk of buff potions for every 10 rounds of bossing then pls do. Buff pots always do wonder for miniboss farming for sure
the reason why slotted feather cape or fluffy tail and any other additionals that gives aspd will always be expensive is because u get permanent aspd increase, which is a quite a hassle if ure not full agi build

 

they already updated the game before and the potion will no longer wears off each time you enter Main Boss Battle, meaning thats 30mins buff main boss hunting.

I prefer permanent stats than externally buffed. Buff potion is not a build. It a external buff. If u guys thinking of external is also your buff. Go ahead. If external = item build, for example, warmonger hat plus speed pot. So be it. It OK, preference Is yours.
Let not keep talking using stats pots and vs permanent stats. It is getting silly.
It is like asking if u drink Coke or sprite during lunch. Lol let talk about something more constructive and this is my guide. I'm guiding players into various style except buff potion. They can explore their option when they are more experienced.

If anyone of u keep talking about pot buff again. Write your freaking guide on it. Don't need to keep compare. Ur not guiding players or newbie. U are doing what is unnecessary teaching to newbie and make them have more doubts.
Write ur own guide OK? Don't need debate unnecessary. Be mature.

There is 1h full dex build.
There is 1h dex crt build.
There is 1h dex str build.
And i forget to write something so important for future players who might be little kids. It is items build.. found out my items explanation is very.. dull.

Buffs don't wear off when enter main bosses..

Also, correct me if I'm wrong.. It takes a Blacksmith char to make your weapons + Armoir, it's takes a Tech refine Char to +12 your weapons, and lastly to Upgrade your stats.
Why are you saying you don't like Tech Potion Char as part of your build?

Well it's up to you...

I found this build interesting thou, and also I found a video from JP version.
not really sure why there aren't any 1H Swordie guide, all I see is DW.

 

If I want to be 1H swordie, I just switch my 2H build by equip it with 1H sword.
As long as the boss is not superb on evasion/dodge, full STR 1H sword is work fine with me

And if we compare DS with 1H,
DS will have Twin Slash skill which is decent DPS skill.
While 1H, may use rampage (new lvl70 sword). But I am not learn yet, too busy with my RL on year-end workload

Well it's DPS wise. And 1H sword is supposed to be good all-around fighter.

 

Thanx for the build. I choose to play 1h with heavy dagger, 120str and 72dex. The best normal attack crit i can do is 2600 againts Forestia....

 

May I ask? What is 1H &2H stands for? Does the 1H stands for 1hour? And 2H stands for 2hours?...I'm sorry for asking a stupid question but I am just curious about what is the H stands for...

 

1H means 1 Hand
2H means 2 Hand
