Support base stats

Hi I'm currently working on support. And the one that confuse me a lot is which one should be our priority as a support, increase dodge by agi stats on armor or decrease aggro using -aggro stats on armor?We know that most of support skills canceled as we got hit, and also most of our skills increase tons of aggression. So, which one should I put as my armor stats?any input will be helpful.Thank you.

 

-aggro is better.
you can only get it from gear, not stats.
and dodge and evasion doesn't work for magic attacks.

 

I wouldn't worry about -aggro. I use a supporter all the time in battles and I don't attract aggro unless there are 2 players knocked out. Are you trying to make a pure support or a support hybrid? I recommend you getting the mirror sheild even if you go -aggro or agi. Stick to the Magicains ring if pure support. Always use a staff.

 

I see.Well magic attack isn't included since as long as we can dodge the "red carpet" we are safe xD

 

Seriously you rarely got the aggro?once I was waiting for like 5-10 sec in a boss battle, then I casted a mini heal on wounded person and the boss got the aggro.And I'm going to pure support without any offensive skill.About magician ring, it's absolutely yes but why staff?I'm about to use m.device ...

 

Magic devices can't have a secondary equipment. It's best for staff then the mirror shield because of its stats. Mirror shield helps dodge attacks so that can make sure you don't get attacked, and if you use a agi based armor its also boosted with the armor. -aggro would help not attracted the mob, but if you do getting that shield will make it a bit easier to dodge attacks. Magic devices sometimes give you a mp boost, but you can't use a sheild and shields can help block or reduce damage from mobs.

 

It makes sense now...so the main point is to equip mirror shield..I see.So if i should choose betwee-aggro and +agi boost, i should go for agi?(because I can't get both stats in a decent one)

 

I would go agi. Even if you get aggro you can always run in circles or use healing skills on yourself or you can dodge the attacks. If your in a good party then you won't get aggro. This is why I asked you if you were making a hybrid because if you where then you could have attacked the boss/mob to lower hp, a.k.a get rid of aggro faster.

 

Got it.By the way i just checked that Mirror shield has +5% aggro q.q isn't that terrible? And yea any suggestion on additonal gear?i was thinking to use fw cape or b.ribbon for dodging purpose..

 

Kinda. The changes of getting aggro even if you are in a good is low though so you can ignore that. Plus, you can always use healing skills. Evade rate +10%, plus the agi armor will help decrease the +5% aggro since it will decrease the amount of times you get attacked from bosses or mobs. If you want more MP get the crystal earrings from the silver roars. Not hard to get and it has a +300 MP boost. I can look through other add gears if there are any good ones for dodging.
