Yup that's why I have 6 points in trigger slash I have all skills same lvl as him. When I wanna farm skele though it wouldn't be best to use the combo over and over again so the 333-395 a hit seems kinda low what is the average that most 2h dps deal a hit?

 

Faust, Do you know what skill tree does "Parry" belong to? im thinking of adding that skill for my 2h swordie. is it adviceable?

 

You can get parry fom Knight Skill Tree lv.2. I think it is adviceable, but i'd get it at the end after u got all other skills needed.

Trigger slash can hit very hard with a 2 hander, 12k+ crits possible. lv10 recommended, does more damage and more combat mp regen. Astute generally does more damage than trigger slash, but trigger slash can get similar hits. People probably dont notice it if they run hardhit-astute(smite)-trigger slash(cons.) combos. Smite lowers the next skills damage and so does consecutive, so trigger slash damage takes a nose dive. Test it out on some boss/mini boss, do the above combo then a normal trigger slash.

I'm pretty sure a trigger slash(smite) crit will be similar (yes i know that sounds silly and will cost a ton of mp).
9-12k normal trigger slash crits are possible on giant boar.
I just upgraded some equipment so will have to test it out and see what happens.

I recently create new chara. And decide to bacame 2H user v.sword. what isthe best skill build for me.

 

hard hit > astute(smite) > trigger(consec) COMBO
max the passive that increase damage (Sword mastery/Sword tech)
spend the rest of your skill pts to anywhere you want. you can choose HP Boost (For survivability) / MP Boost (For Combos)
IMO 2h is an expensive class coz you'll be needing those mp recov xtals (errie/s.roar) and get high ASPD as possible (gskel xtal) for you to quick recover so that you can almost spam your combo.
regarding stat you could go full STR or MIX with Crit.
Stats for your crafted weapon 4% Atk + 5% / Crit+5
Armor Str+5 +5%Crit / Crit +5
BD Horn[1] / Xtal Earring[1]
Muscle Talis[1] / Sofya[1]

i had xstal earing def17 slot,solfya talisman,gob sword,wolf garb

 

you could use that as temporary coz you need to make your crit rate as high as possible for you to not miss your combos. astute crit buff is not enough for you to land crit 100% of the time IMO.

 

How to make crit high?

 

From crafted items add stat str +5 crit 5% + crit +5

Hmm for volcanic sword you have 2 options for top end.
1) +4%atk, +5% crit, -2% natural MP regen
2) +4%atk, +4str, -2% natural MP regen (for this you will need a full tech to add the stats, +5str might be possible it will have a risk to add it though)
Cost varies alot, 1) is easy i can make that for you np farm the mats and some mana i'll do it for free, more mats the better. 2) you'll end up paying alot for it or make friends with a full tech. smith.
It depends how much crit you have from equipment and stats.
Dont take +5str, +5%crit, +5crit. +%atk on weapon costs only 10 potential take advantage of that, at 700+ attack +%atk is alot better than +str. (Well i guess if your 600atk ish at lv55 then take +str.)

 

Wait, did I just saw a "minus" mp regen? So by having such stats on a sword, it will apply degeneration on MP?
