No its -natural MP regen (the regen on MP when not in combat). On weapons you can lower defense stats, the best effect is from -ve regen and -def/mdef.
Currently people with full tech stats can give the best stat bonuses. Full tech can give biggest benefits on all weapons/armour and also for refinement.
Eg. Full tech can customise armour with 37pot and give it 1 -ve stat and make it 54 pot. Full tech also makes weapon refinement alot easier. (Skills on smith are limited to mid lv refinement)
Tech stat, got super strong recently.

Hello! My 2H Swordie currently got 102 Str and 45 Crt at Lvl 55 with 13 Skill Points Left. Any suggestions on where I should use it?
    Thanks! ^^

Want I would do, I'll add my remaining Stats to STR since 45 Crit is good enough to land Hit/Damage.
by maximizing STR you'll increase your damage output.

Was there any other skills you use besides those two blade and survival?

Just gonna throw out some info.

3.5 CRT (as in the personal stat) = 1% Critical Rate
    5 STR = 1% Critical Damage
Base MP Recovered per hit (exclude atk mp recovery from equips) = 10 (base value) + Max MP/100 (the number of MP bars you have)
Info about Trigger Slash: Doubles the base ATK MP Recovery.

This is what I thought could work (have not tried this)...

    Full STR

Adel Sword (Crafted from Sofya Smith)
Bush Knife (for its sub stats)
Killer Coat (Light Remodeled for more attack speed)
    War Helmet
    Muscle Talisman II

Blade Skills: Sword Mastery, Quick Slash, & Sword Techniques Level 10 (30 sp), Hard Hit, Astute, & Trigger Slash Level 10 (30 sp)
Survival Skills: Safe Rest Level 5 (5 sp), HP Boost Level 10 (10 sp)
Battle Skills: Attack Up Level 10 (10 sp), Smash Level 5 (5 sp), Critical Up Level 10 (10 sp)

Combo: Astute> Hard Hit (Consecutive)> Trigger Slash (Consecutive) : 100 MP Cost

    My Thought Process:

Going full STR will contribute a lot of crit damage. Will rely on crits before astute is used from War Helmet, and Killer Coat (+20 Critical Rate, meaning that if one has lets say 10% crit rate naturally, it will be 30% now) and Critical Up. Now dagger skills will be used. Bush knife (& War Helmet) increases weapon attack. Bush Knife also gives plus 6% physical pierce. The Killer coat gives +10% attack speed. In addition to attack speed gained from STR, light remodeled armor, and quick slash, attack speed will 'ok'. Muscle Talisman II is for more STR and +300 MP of course. Sword Mastery, Attack Up (not really needed to be maxed, yet), Sword Techniques (for sword skills) to boost damage further. HP Boost is nice to have since +1000 HP, well is nice to have. By using to combo listed about, not only can the boss be slowed (by flinching) but damage output is good due to sword techniques. Also because the combo ends with Trigger Slash, MP recovered by attack will be faster. By leading the combo with Astute, the other skill in the combo have a higher chance of landing a critical hit.

Now I have a few questions. Like I mentioned above, I have not tried this. Is this a viable build? What are its flaws (regardless of it is whether viable or not)? Can it be improved (regardless of whether it is viable or not) and how?

Hello sir, im originally a 2H so my stat is full str. But sometimes i use 1H for breaking purposes. This build is good for majority of the bosses and field boss except for forestia, silver roar and gold skeleton. Even with crit up 10, killer coat, warhat, and custom sword i miss alot even with astute buff. Didnt try the accuracy potion tho. Burst damage is good especially with warcry as I've seen my astute reach 14k sometimes.

The closest competitor to this build would be a 2h. You lose Bush knife but gain 1 atk per STR, which translate to roughly 200 atk, and whatever crit damage bonus from that STR. You lose the 'Sure Hit' effect from 1h Trigger slash, which could be crucial at times.

These are the major differences between the 2. Weigh it out and see what suits you better ^^

    Hope this helps.

I always carry daggers and shields all the time. Depending on the situation, shields (pref. Relief shield) for defense, bush knife for offense, or my 2H elemental swords. Lol

As a warrior you will get aggro for comboing non-stop ( 1handers) or comboing periodically with 2H ( requires more mp per skill so u get aggro as well) wether you like it or not. So just practice and bring rev 3s, regera 2s, and vita 2s if you didnt get hp boost. Especially with boss Roga
