TANK Paladin Build Guide by makOi

Hi guys my IGN is makOi i just want to share the build im using as a PALADIN TANK.
This build have no damage, just plain tank. Everyone know what paladin is a tank who can endure damage and keep his party/himself alive due to its healing skill.
(Im sorry if i put this on warrior thread even if its Mage main. i feel like this should be on warrior thread instead of mage.)

So here's the build:

Stat & Equipments:
FULL VIT Secondary Stat INT

Nurethoth Mask w/ K.Potum Xtal
Player Crafted Armor w/ Aggro10% or HP7%+Vit7%+10 + Arcoiris Xtal
Potum Staff (If you want more mana) / Any Player Crafted 1 Slot Staff w/ Aggro 10% or HP7%+Vit7%+10 + K.Potum Xtal
Magician Ring[1] w/ K.Potum Xtal
Marble Shield

(Choose HP7% if you want more HP. iF you feel like you want more Aggro go for Aggro10%)

Combo Setup:
Assault Attack > Sanctuary Save > Gloria Swift > Aegis or Protection Swift (Depends on what boss youre tanking) > Shield Bash Smite
-100 MP Per Cast

How to TANK:
Manual Cast PROVOKE then Execute COMBO
Use Mini Heal/MP Charge when Needed.

*Having Issue Tapping?
Press and Hold "Action" (List of nearby monster/players will popup) > Tap the boss name > Tap "Action" > Close > then Cast Provoke.
Use this if you plan to tank 3-4 mini bosses specially when againts sertilio.

How to Level your TANK Paladin:
1st create a mage character put all the stats to VIT!
2nd buy the support skill tree and MAX Mini Heal ASAP!
3rd if you still have remaining skill points get MP Charge MAX as you level up
4th go to zoktda ruin and look for mage party skel farming
5th once you have a party go max range where the gobs are dont go near the skels coz they are agressive when your below Lvl25 (HEAL AT MAX RANGE / CAREFUL WITH YOUR HEALING MAKE SURE THE TARGET HP SHOULD HAVE ATLEAST 50-70% HP COZ IF YOU HEAL THEM AT FULL HP YOU'LL GET AGRO AND SKEL WILL START KILLING YOU. GOOD THING THAT YOU ARE NEAR THE ENTRANCE JUST RUN OUT OF THE RUIN AND GET BACK TO THE SPOT. IT WILL JUST TAKE 1HOUR OR LESS TO GET LEVEL 30+)
NOTE: SOME PEOPLE KNOW HOW HEALER WORKS SO THAT'S GOOD BUT SOME PEOPLE DONT SO EXPECT TO GET KICKED IF THEY SAW YOU Low Level CHARACTER THEY MIGHT THINK YOUR LEECHING WHICH IS NOT IF YOUR DOING YOUR PART! SO THE CHALLENGE HERE IS PROVE YOUR WORTH SO THEY CAN KEEP YOU IN THEIR PARTY.
and Lastly spend the rest of your skill points on the skill build listed above.

im just wondering , what is the benefit of getting the provoke skill to lvl 10? i am perfectly controlling the boss agro with lvl 1 provoke.
sorry newbie here , needing some guidance

 

Mana cost. At lvl 10 it only requires 200 mp instead of 400

 

I have a question. How much damage do you take when your hit? I ask because of the King Potum xtals decrease of Physical/Magical resistance. It's probably not substantial at just 10%, i'm just curious.

 

How do you increase your hp so high

 

The gears is liisted on my guide. Thats what im using with crystals. With vita pot i get almost 7.4k

 

Im tanking gskel 3-4 its hitting me 600+ with the aoe skill. The rest 90% of it is guarded 30-40ish. The one that looks like astute or hh hits me 100-200.
Regarding k.potum i only use 2pcs. It just reduce my def by -50 you wont even notice the reduction.

 

What kinda of vita and does it depend on the same equip it has to be in

 

Im not getting what youre trying to say. Vita potion 1 from npc that gives additional 500 hp for 30mins.
By means of depend equip? Im confuse here. The 6855 hp that your seeing on the picture doesnt have vita potion.

This is a full tank build. I dont have any dmge. 1 normal / 1 crits hahaha

 

Mini heal for tank, must max it?

 

This is only advisable for staff user IMO coz with other types of weapon the cast time of mp charge is above 5sec+.
If only there are bosses that requires a healer i shouldnt have this skill.
If you have a personal/private healer that can party with you everyday, you dont need to have this skill.
But do know when you have a healer on your party it may slowdown your hunts.(or depends on what the healer build is.)

Hey mak0i, I was farming with you yesterday at Seltirio and it just occurred to me that I was farming with the man who's build I'm following xD.

Your build is excellent and your OP great, I have no complaints whatsoever :3.

They were argueing about a support tank build XD

Those ppl really has no idea how to think outside the box.

I used morning star staff abd libra as my main tank weapons ... and some ppl think that i was a mage =_=
