Tank Stats?

So,I want to make a tank character but, I don't want to ruin my stats. Would 1/2 dex 1/2 vit work well?
If not ,what would be a good build?

 

I'm using one-handed sword and shield by the way.

 

full vit and mental/tech if u want a bs tank with high pot for ur armor u create

or just go with vit > mental

 

You don't need dex for pure tank. There's a weapon called toy hammer that has 100% crit rate but -150% crit damage, your attacks won't miss but you'll be dealing 1 damage. Damage isn't nessecary for holding aggro, only mp cost and hit rate.

 

If you're making bs tank then vit rest tec.
If pure tank build then vit rest mental.

Hmmm, don't really have any experience with dps tanks. But if you're using a shield you wouldn't really need much hp(maybe about 14k or something is enough) because of perfect defense.

 

Try to go 200 str, around 50 dex then vit the rest

 

u dont need to deal much dmg, utility skills like provoke, guardian etc r ur tools to bring down bosses n ur pt will be a blast.
255vit rest tec for a bs or men for full tank. mentality increase ur ailment resist btw

 

If what you're asking for is a balanced-ish build. Hybrids normally fall under those categories. Since they are normally capable of dealing decent damage, and tanking decently as well. But hybrids also come with a whole new set of downsides. Try looking for a balanced build like that and then allocate some dps points into tank if thats what you wanna do.

 

I recommend balanced vit=str build for a semi tank, i'm not into those full tank builds, since in the end its those 100%+ fractionals that kill tanks, semi or not...

As long as you can maintain mp to cast p.def anytime, yer as good as any full tank out there...

As for skills it would be always up to you, for each tank has their own preferred skills and combos, since others' build may not work on how you handle the boss and it means death

 

Well I have that toy hammer nightmare potum drop it for me and its xtal already attached in it can I use it for my tank?
Can pls tell me what lvl I have to be for good tank.
I am lvl 100 now and my vit is full and mlt=40 smoething.

I go VIT > MTL fot tank. Vit, of course, for the max hp and defense while Mtl for the added ailment resistance and phys/mag resitance. I get aspd from equips so no need for Agi. Dex and Stry are only for semi tanks.

Use a shield.

Use the Guardian skill.

Know how to use Perfect defense.

And you're good to go.

MTL only raises Ailment Resistance. That one on Coryn where it increases both physical and magic resistance is wrong outdated info.

Really? Is that skill really that good despite the nega?

 

For 1h sword, it give 25crit rate, more than 1k atk speed, and -25% stability. Check the skill tree list in guide
I use rampage along with it, so it is good...
