Is Sword Tempest affected by Short Range Damage% at all? Considering that its cousin Storm is affected ever since the Magic Range% update.

If you have spare skill points or a vacant character slot, you can find out yourself by getting lv1 Tempest. Test with srd% xtals such as gravicep. Or, you can ask your friend/guildmate who has Tempest to test if it's affected by range bonus or not.

Back to the question at hand, I don't think Tempest has range bonus... unless I missed some big update regarding changes in Blade skills.

So I went ahead and tested Tempest myself. Here are the range bonus results:
    • With +6% srd, the first hit deals 14873 damage and the follow-up hits deal 8163.
    • With +12% srd, the first hit deals 15715 damage and the follow-up hits deal 8163.
As for the unsheathe results, Tempest has no damage bonus with more unsheathe. Tested with Goovua (+100 Unsheathe Attack).

All the tests were done with 100% stability, on a lvl 32 character.

    In conclusion, Tempest has:
    1. Range bonus on first hit
    2. No range bonus on the subsequent hits
    3. No unsheathe bonus on all the hits
My thoughts? If you're a farmer, stacking up srd% on Tempest isn't such a good idea since you'll 1-shot most mobs with the first hit anyway, with or without srd%/lrd%.
