The "Accompany" feature

Is this given to all players? or do you recieve it from an emblem? I'm a bit confused here.. a friend of mine doesn't seem to have this ability.

 

well, 1st of all, does this friend of yours have a 2nd/3rd character already?

 

each person gets multiple slots to make multiple characters
once you have two or more characters you can choose one to accompany you.
or if you want mercs, you need ppl on your friend list

 

Emblem is necessary, as emblem can gave you 2 slot character for free. If not, use orb for buying character slot first.
When you had 2 characters or more (in change character menu), you can choose other character, then choose "accompany". You can decide whenever you want your other character be Attacker or Defender.
But, one thing to remember. Accompany feature similar like mercenary, but using your other character. Then, partnet can't earn exp, and can't use their active skills, only passive skill (HP Boost, ect) that act as buff to only that character. Partner support skill only first aid kits with 3-5 secs interval with not caring about that character real MP.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but the topic is my concern.
I cant find the accompany button in any of my characters.
The options available are only as follows: Check details. Change name, Delete and Switch.
Amy I missing something? Or do I need to do something first before the button will appear?

Well, for making simple, make sure this question to be answered by yourself:

1. Did you have more than 1 character in your account?
2. Did you are in a party?
3. If you are in the party, are you being Party Leader or being Party Member only?

If you can answer this, I will give answer to this problem.

 

1. I have 3.
2. I am.
3. I am a member only.

 

Only party leader can acompany. Either your party leader or solo to be able to use the accompany feature

It's as @vana said earlier only party leader and solo player can use "Accompany"

 

Thank you both. I am now able to register my other character as partner.

 

Sorry for asking on the old thread. I'm a solo player but the accompany button is missing but I can hire a mercenary.

 

you need to have created at least 2 characters to use "accompany".
the game will automatically notify you about "accompany" as soon as you create a 2nd character.
