"Hello. I'm skies aka DBskies (in-game) and I am starting the game from the very beginning with nothing..;-; and I need to get strong and rich. To do that I need to."
    • Find a way to farm Spina
    • Level up
    • Learn the basics
"Okay so I heard from a birdie... well thousands of birdies that luck mages are out and luck halberds are in... but why?"
A luck Halberd basically has higher damage and is faster and more flexible in terms of farming bosses and mobs.

    "But what about the cost?"
We will cover the cost through farming spots...
    https://toramonline.com/index.php?threads/sharing-my-stable-spina-source-fast-and-easy.51749/
Though this may not be the first person to post this it's a good enough source. the way this covers the cost is because we don't have to wait for money and the class we are aiming for isn't so complicated. Though there are expert builds probably there isn't much of drawback from being super simple with the build.

" Oh okay I understand now... So when do I make my money? gimme gimme!"
Patience young one First off we will rush the Main Quest. We will interchange drop equipment throughout the story (will post later with stats). I hate to say but its possible for the first day or two for you to not make mad money. But that's an mmorpg for you kid.

"But... money ;-;... i need that 3 million spina Halberd!"
No...No you don't... later you can... but you wont at the moment. This game is a real grindy(?) game and takes time for everything... those with patience will strive while the impatient well... sit in rakau plains *wink*

" NO! ANYTHING BUT RAKAU! PLEASE!"
Thats what I thought. Now lets get started on the skills of our Luck Halberd :D

"Okay so obviously we start with a halberd class correct yeah?"
Yes, its best to kill two birds with one stone and make a farmer and attacker as our first character.
"But what if I accidentally chose Katana or Bow as my main? I... I'm gonna have to delete my account?!"
Well... no not at all... just play the game for a little bit and get the achievement "Try Something new" which gives you a second character slot after 2 hours of play.
    "Phew..."
Yeah. So the skill trees we will need are:
    Magic (Max)
    Halberd (Max)
    Survival (Max)
    Battle Skills (Max)
These are the basic classes and more can be added depending on how cool you are ;)
"Oh I'm real cool!... But why those?"
Our combo is Impact>Dive Impact> Finale
This is what we will use when farming much later on.
Survival skills will help increase our HP and MP and battle skill tree will increase damage along with other stats.

    "Okay I'm determined and ready!"

Perfect. Now do Main Quest till you arrive at Hora Diomedea. change bosses difficulty accordingly and skills accordingly. Meet you there!

    Equipment:
Before I continue I would like to thank Lucius from my guild. He is always helping noobs including myself. All the Equips are obtainable either by drops or crafts... no need to spend the already limited moolah you have.

    Weapon:
    Screenshot_20210302-201504.png

This can be crafted or dropped... i myself grabbed me a merc and went for the drop.
    Location: Cuervo Jail
Mob: Lyark Jailer (farm one with slot for extra cr imo)

    Sub-Weapon:
    Screenshot_20210302-201911.png

This is also a drop... supa ez drop too. obtained from...
    Location: Artillery Defense Line
    Mob: Demi Ma(r)china

Armor: Screenshot_20210302-202155.png "Ehhh... this is embarrassing... imma put my jacket on now..."
    Craftable:
6x Bloddy Scarf, 12x Grudge Of Soldier, 24x Cracked Skull

    Additional:
    Screenshot_20210302-202327.png "Better"

note: this item is quite the drop... you will need a merc if you are trying to get it early on
    Location: Wazeero Street
    Mob: Biped Frog

    Special: ???

Lol okay so with this one I actually have a few choices and they're pretty cheap too.
    Dark Knight Amulet
    Dark Talisman (Flash) gives cr
    Dark Talisman (Power)

"Sweet! Now to continue the story!"

I also like this approach, I've been wanting to also do this on a new fresh account with absolutely nothing and try to find out the fastest time I can reach cap level with enough spina to get decent equipment on a main character, but I'm too lazy to do so lol.

Though even without trying it, if I were in a newbie's shoes with absolutely nothing and forced to start all over again, my first step would be to find a Guild with a good tank mercenary or attacker mercenary, or find a a friend with either of those mercs, preferably a 2h merc with atleast 10,000 atk and 10k hp for attacker mercs(with buster blade and meteor/enchant set as skills), or in the case of tank mercs, one with good aggro skill like provoke and a survivability skills, with atleast 150k or more hp.

My next step would be to make a luk halberd as my first character, putting all the new stat points I get into str and then luk, and with the help of the mercs, to finish all bosses on easy mode and finish the MQ(I would likely need to get help from real players on hard bosses like both venenas, since it's hard for mercs to deal with them even on easy mode), after finishing the MQ as fast as possible this way, my luk halberd would already be around lvl 150~. And then it's time to farm mobs for spina, and there's already a lot of guides in youtube for that, with a good luk halberd and just an hour or more farming each day, one can easily get 1 million spina in a few days, which is good enough to buy decent equipment from the consignment board.

At this point, with a stable income of spina from farming mobs, you can already easily choose to do whatever you want next, whether it is to make a new character with your preferred weapon of choice(or enhance the equipment of the main character you already created), or another production character like tech refiner.

So basically my entire plan is based around leveling up a luk halberd farmer first through MQ to get a stable source of spina, because with enough money, everything would be slightly easier(LOL). The reason I chose a luk halberd and not other farmers is because, from my research, luk halberd is the cheapest build to make with cheap equipments to be good enough to farm high level mobs(where you can get the most spina). Npc equipment at +E refine is even good enough, which is perfect for newbies.

    The Skills:
    "Bout time.."

Yeah yeah tbh it took a bit because I want to understand why some classes are needed.

    Magic:
    Impact:
So this skill basically does AOE and halves the cost of the next skill. With Dive Impact being 400 mp this is a god-send especially if this skill is 200 mp itself. But this itself is not the only thing...
    "???"
If you go to the Sofya City: Library there is an adventurer in the back which talks of proration... there are 3 kinds, Normal attacks, Physical Skills, Magical Skills. Impact is obviously magic... being it's in the magic tree (duh). This is is obviously good because proration is basically in the adventurer's words " May have the damage gradually decrease. Enemies get used to the attack and it becomes less effective." So going from a magic skill to a physical skill means no decrease in damage.

But having impact also helps because dive impact is apparently based on a tiny bit of int... well its second multiplier at least (look at Coryn club)
Atm I have 1 INT so the second multiplier is 4.01
if you put like... 50, for example, it becomes 4.5
    IDK... something to consider lol.

Finale: So the reason this skill is last btw in the combo is that its cast is long. So having Dive impact and Impact go first just makes it safer...ig.
it has a lot of aoe.. 3 hits actually so it is useful for farming

    Halberd:
    Dive Impact:
I mean... no real need to explain... big numbers.
Halberd Mastery: Atk%+3, Weap Dmg% 30 oh yeah... get it
    Critical Spear: Cr+5%, Cr+5
    Quick Aura: ASPD+25%, ASPD+500
(Optional) GodSpeed Wield: ASPD+400, Motion+10%, Res Reduction -25%, Dur: 60secs.

    Blade:
    War Cry:
    ATK+10%, Dur: 25secs

    Battle Skills:
    Atk up:
Player level x 25% lol I'm confused a bit because it doesn't specify what the 25% is from... my attack or my level... i assume attack
Whack: 10% chance to increase dmg dealt from the previous attack. Dmg increase 20%
    Crit Up: CR5 CR5%
    (Optional) Accuracy Up: Hit +10
Intimidating Power: Player level x 25%

So these are what I consider important skills and explanation for luck halberd.
" OH! i forgot you said this wasn't only for mobs... so that's why you added some optional... but what about more skills?"
    ...
    ...
    coming soon.

I was helping two newbies with leveling up, three of us are in a Discord group.
I was using a fresh Character of my own, so no instant finale.
Of course, they don't have the Exp gain rewards from another Character at 220 and so.
    We did this:
    • Start MQ, level 5 at shell mask,
    • then go out to Ruined temple, Beak and Farafalla to level 13-14
    • Icule lake Miwi to level 18-19 ish
    • Nisel Mountain Area 1 the immediate Shell mask near entrance to level 24
    • Nisel Mountain Area 2, the plateau to level 36.
      • Ask for pt.
    • Then purchase a ticket to Ancient empress tomb, Bone Dragonet to level 56.
      • Ask for pt.
    • Then Flare Volg Hard into Nightmare until you reach level 70.
      • Ask for pt
      • Voila! Tier 3 skills unlocked.
    • Level up as much as you can here, 72 ish or whatever.
This is your first relaxation point. You can now relax and enjoy the other events/features in the game, do stuff available to you, make a farming Character, etc. You can also do Main quest at your own pace, while enjoying the story.
    • When you reach El Scaro, and complete Kurgon's quest, you should be level 78 or so. If you are not, Then you might have to go back to Minotaur Ultimate to level up a bit.
    • After 78, take the Drunk Mistake quest from Ravange. Go to Akaku desert Area 1 and try to find a pt for Metal stinger. Kill 99. You'll reach 82 ish and also quest will level you up to 84.
Start using XP books extensively after this.
    • Then, Masked Warrior Nightmare till 96 ish
    • Don Yeti to 107-108
    • Masked Warrior Ultimate till 114-116.
Now this is a roadblock. Cerberus Nightmare is a difficult Boss, and people will kick you out for not having good DPS. You'll need good friends to carry you till 120.
    • Lapin the Necromancer 120 to 129
Again, Cerberus Ultimate is a difficult boss. I got bored of waiting and switched to my other character to get the job done.
    • You should be at 142. If not, go to Odelon Machina.
    • Then continue story mode to chapter 7 end.
    • Bingo! You're at level 150.

This guide is for those without pt. And as you state near the end finding a pt will get harder. I will post more later today till level 100 hopefully. As well as some updated farmable equips.

    Farming Spots:
    Flying Quartz: Ethos Fortress TP
    6k per tp

Note: I noticed those things can only be farmed from mobs and during mq walking from Saham crater back to ethos is a hassle. So when I went to buy one from Consignment it was 6k for one and a wealthy sum for a stack. The drop rate is very... not great. Even with 173 luck, I would get 1 tp per... 12 or so... but the Monster hunting bonus will rack some in.
+45k-ish today from farming those for an hour.

    Custos Demi Machina: Silk Glove
    45k per stack

    Material Farming Locations:
Whatever you may do in the game eventually you will come across the point where you'll need materials whether it be crafting weapons or... a comfy seat
    Screenshot_20210314-130354.png
" This seat was soooo comfy... but it took forever to make..."
yes sadly like everything else in the game you need patience. But we are here to make things easier... so without further or due...

    Metal:
"Metal was so necessary for a lot of the craftables and when the level cap was 40 or so back then ribisco cave was the best spot to farm it... and I still believe that now."
    Ribisco Cave Area 3
    Goblin

All they drop is literally metal mats.

    Medicine:
"You'll visit this spot often especially later on to make revitas"
    Lonogo Canyon
    Pova

    Wood:
" These items are used for the quest but it is not a waste to use these for materials IMO"
    Nisel Mountain
    Shell Mask

I tend to process everything including bnut

    Mana/ Cloth:
" I tried looking for super weak mobs for the noobies but in the end it ends on..."
    Ancient empress
    Cassy

The magic devices process into mana.
