The best additional gear for a mage?

anyone know the best additional gear for a dps mage?

 

Tyrant's grievance

 

This is the one I use.
It's not the best in terms of boosting MATK, but the CSPD and MP boost are nice. And since it's a drop from a normal mob you can get 1s very easily.

 

Sorcery hat (matk6% aggro-15% phys-barrier+1k)

 

Devil hood from Baphomela
Has nice matk and stab boost,altho you need to be careful too since it have 7% aggro

 

Situational and depends on your play style. There's:
-Tyrant grievance
-Devil hood (5% matk, 6% magic pierce, 7% stab, +8% aggro)
-Fairy hat(4% matk, 800hp, 4%agi, -15% aggro, earth res 5%)
-Nightcap(500cspd+mp and 1k p. barrier) or mysterious hood(same but 5% int instead of barrier)
-Gem earrings( 6%matk, 3%dex, p.res 12%)
-Lil devil horns(5% matk, matk up by 50%agi, 666hp, 20% dodge)

That looks great, I'm thinking of switching my queen staff for a normal statted one but the lack of mp troubles me

You get the stats wrong. It's:-
Base DEF 59
Accuracy 40
Weapon ATK 20%
Additional Meele 150%
Additional Magic 150%

Much worse than that OP stat you put.

still op though.... sure tyrant mask/grievance is a little bit better than this... but for someone who will take tha MAGIC SWORDSMAN path, this is OP

I don't think so. Need someone else to get mathematical proof tho.

 

NPC blacksmith one is better. 500mp and cspd. Lil devil Barrett gives about 1kmp I think.

 

No, it is not.

 

Which means to say that the 3% weapon attack from ornlarf isn't that great either right? So if I have a 100 ATK katana, 3% weap atk from ornlarf only gives a measly +3 weapon atk? I'm trying to decide whether to ditch my outdated 2 slotted armor for a 1slotted soldier arm and just ditch ornlarf xtal if the 3% weap atk is useless, I can get my hp needs from a +hp food buff.....
