I have decided to make this threat and talk about how I build my blacksmiths. Before we get started, I would like to share with you some of my experiences. I have been asking questions here and there in game and in this forum. Sometimes get ignored, sometimes I had to test it myself, sometimes I had to dig the answer out. There are many posts teaching people how to build blacksmith but the real core details are usually in those replies and so if you were new to Blacksmith, you might face the same problems again and then end up something like me, had to delete my lv 50 character and remake a new one that best fit the real world's need.

The purpose of this post is to save you time on researching about Blacksmith, it might not include all the info new to you but it is what it is.

About me, I have made a tons of gears and made a lot of in game money, and for some I was able to sell for real money/orbs. Unlike some people who think that sharing this technique can ruin their businesses (Yes you can become a millionaire just by selling crafted gears), imo, it is just a game and it is a social game, you make friends or you keep it for yourself and you dont make friends. Some peers will try to ruin your reputation by calling you name but so be it.

Even at this point, there are things I have been doing could still be wrong, idk, but as long as I am making a tons of money from it, what not.

    What is Blacksmith:
Blacksmith is a character who acquired the Blacksmith skills from the skill trainer. You can learn other skills like synthesis or even offensive & defensive skills and still call yourself Blacksmith. For me, I think a BS is something that have at least all BS skills in 10.

    Stats:
Your main stats (STR,DEX,VIT,INT,AGI) affects the potential of the gear you make. 10 points on that special main stat adds 1 point to the potential of the gear you create. STR affects sword (1H,2H), DEX affects bows and guns, VIT affects armors, INT affects staff and magic device, AGI is for claws.
As far as I know, DEX also increases your difficulty level.

    Tech:
The game description says it increases the successful rate of what you create. In fact, it does more than that.
First of all, it increases your difficulty level, which allows you to create something beyond your proficiency level, which is very important because if you only put all points on 1 main stat, you wont be able to raise your proficiency after certain level due to the lack of exp you can gain from what are available for you to create.
Secondly, it increases your successful rate to refine your gears.
Lastly, it increases your successful chance to upgrade your gears.
So, as far as I know, it has 4 benefits toward crafting while main stat has only 1 benefit.

    How do you raise Proficiency:
For 1~10 craft what is the cheapest for you, usually short sword. After that you can try long sword to 15.
If you had points in tech, you might have a 20 or 25 or even 30 difficult level. You may craft something 5 or 10 difficulty levels above your proficiency level. Always always pick the one that costs you the least to craft so you can do this efficiently.

    Now some real world issues:
Some might think it is the best just put all points into the main stat. Some people might tell you to main tech first and then reset it to a main stat after some point you reach difficulty level 40+. I think, it works but at a high cost. First off, it saves you at least 8 orbs to reset. Secondly, say if you invested 10, 20, 30 or even 40 into tech, you only lose 1, 2, 3, or 4 potential points on gear you craft. I think it is a fair trade. (Something to mention here is that if you had only 1 tech point, you wont be able to raise your proficiency after certain level (usually 15).) Also, tech increases your successful rate to craft something, it means you are crafting less, spending less, for a bigger gain. Yet you cant just go all TECH because you will be making crappy default potential gears. 150 stat points gives you at least 15 more potential, that is at least 3 more stat points on 1 gear when you go upgrade the gear. I cant tell you exactly how much tech you should have but it is definitely not all tech if you are are going to create gears. It really depends on how much tolerance you have for making failures.
Again, Some people say well, we want perfection and we shall go ham on this and just reset at proficiency 40 and put all points into 1 stat. I think, the game is constantly progressing (level cap keeps raising, probably up until 300). There is no perfect gear but a gear that benefits us the most at the current stage. Everything turns into trash when a better version comes out, usually get devalued by 60%+. In that case, my suggestion is to put some points into tech so you can craft more good stuff and sell them to cover your cost or even make some profits.

    How we build a creator:

You need basically 3 characters slots, 1 full tech for refine and upgrade, 1 for weapon and 1 for armor.

    How do you level:
The day you choose BS, you know it is BS. Get carried by someone or use small articles or spent a tons of time grinding.

    Stats:
    1~40 TECH
Rest goes to your main stat depends on what categories of gear you wanna craft.

    Skills:
If you had someone to carry you 1 though level maybe 50 or just buy small articles to raise your level, you dont even need any offensive or defensive skills.
Put all points into your crafting skills. You should have enough points to max out all skills at level 50 or even 1 extra SP left, if you had unlocked those skill points emblems.

    Gears:
Put on what boosts your main stat, even for the xtal.

This should cover almost all your questions about Blacksmith, if you have any more question, feel free to ask.

Um Azloki... May I Ask Weird And The Most Hard Question? Do You Think (Balance) BS Is Exist? Example. No Main Stat So, "110" Stat Point is invest Fairly To Each (Str, Int, Vit, Agi, Dex). Some Of My Guildies Said It's Impossible And Pointless... But for Me I just want To Make A Perfect BS.
Do You Think That's Possible? Oh And I have Other Alt Char So Leveling And Collecting Mats Is Nothing...

Hi...I'm a new BS too...... Might have seen me in game too ;)

Well I've spent a ridiculous amount of time farming article and now i have a lvl 40 111 Tec BS ....... (Has a 4 out of 10 chances of failure in creating equipments) but seems decent to me ...... Is there a way to make it better or is it forever stuck as a refiner?

Hello! Thanks for the informative guide!
I am planning on making a BS just for refine and upgrade (FULL TECH). Do I need to raise proficiency too? Will my skill tree be the same as a pure blacksmith? Thanks in advance!

Hmm, if ur making a full bs, shouldnt u be making that bs for second charac? Let ur first charac (swordsman, mage, brawler, or archer class) lv up ur bs by using the 11k exp quest then once the bs lv up to 40, put all points that u saved from lv 1-40 to tec skill, then it sup to u wat bs tree way u want. Point is, the bs wont fight or cant fight due to all main stats have only 1 pt, while all other points are in tec personal stat
