I'm lvl39 and I'm stuck in that marionette killing. They r damn too hard for me. My stats are
    Str-14
    Int-1
    Dex-30+
    Agi-24
    Vit-23
Is it wrong for a 1h swordsman?
I have a gladius, fw armor, santa hat and lantern. Should i get nice weapons or should i join a party ( in case its impossible to do solo)

Please help me elite members :)

    ...

Why did you think spreading stats to 4 stats would work?

A 1h swordie should be full dex or full STR.

hello! i dont know much about swordies but i do know that it is not advisable to use scattered stats.
you need to have one main stat that you need to focus on such as DEX and as your level cap increases, you may choose to do a 1:1 ratio or just stick with maximising the stat.
if you are low on HP, i suggest investing in the Survival tree skill and use HP Boost.

    hope that helps!

I'm sorry to say but your going to need to reset/remake your swordsman and this time put full dex. But if you don't want to then just buy revita 3 stacks (+1000 hp heal) and you should be fine

Sell xmas stars they sell well at the moment. Best you reset your 1H build btw. Focus on Dex and or Str. If you worry about hp us the survival skill HP boost.

By reset I mean delete it and make a new character slot.

Don't waste your reset imo. Just remake your swordie and save that free reset for future use *cough* reset lvl 70 farmer to make blacksmith *cough*

Wow...that is so wrong it's almost a crime.
I would say that stat placement would be the most powerful with a knuckle gunner.

using more than 1 stat is not a completely wrong idea, but you still have to select priorities.
hints given on the stat screen are according to your currently equipped main weapon.
those "recommended stats" have the most effect with that weapon equipped.

    basically it goes like this:
    STR - physical power
    VIT - health
    INT - magical power
    DEX - accurary
AGI - speed (movement and attack speed)

but each of the 4 main weapons gets an extra bonus for certain stats.
when you have decided for your main weapon, you should focus on those stats the most, only add others when you need them, but keep you main stat twice as high as the others. for 1h-swords, STR increases attack, DEX does it too, but to a lesser exent, but also adds accurary.
VIT is also recommended, because you can only fight at close range with a sword, but the effect of VIT on HP is the same for all weapons.

my ninja character is a good example of using multiple stats:
my main stat is INT, as it increases magic power and staff attacks.
other stats i use are DEX for faster attacks (including magic).
AGI for quicker movement and some VIT for more health and defense.
you get 2 stat points per level + a few extras every 5 levels.
i always put 1 point in INT and the other one into one of the other stats.
when i get extra points i use them for what i need most or put them all on INT if i don't need any.
with this spread, my main stat INT is always at least twice as high as the others.
i don't use STR, because it has minimal effect on that character.

so INT is the power source of my magic and my staff, DEX and AGI makes all attacks and movements faster, so that i can move and attack like a ninja.
VIT gives me the little extra defense i need to withstand attacks which i can't evade.
my sub-weapon, the dagger, is based on physical attack power, which is powered by INT because i use a staff as my main weapon. no need for STR here.

with a 1h-sword, you can choose between STR or DEX, depending on whether you like to play aggressive or defensive.
how much VIT you use, depends on whether you have a shield or not and what armor you prefer.
AGI usually raises attack speed, but i case of the sword, DEX will do it too.
INT is only needed if you use magic based skills.

EDIT: ok, now i do use STR too. it raises the power of dagger skills more than INT and also strenghtens my critical hits. (i have CRIT as special stat)
so i now build it equal in STR and INT (like a magic knight) with some DEX and AGI for the ninja reflexes.
