So if potential comes from INTor AGI. What then if we max INT and put some into AGI?

Does that give us say 25 pot from INT and then an added bonus from AGI?

What say you?

Obviously we can't check until we have enough stat points, but this could make for a rather interesting MD.

 

Yup @Odin , When Int is maxed, Int Blacksmiths have the choice of either adding Agi next, so that their Magic Devices will get more Potential, or they can just continue with tech and specialise only in Staffs. Same goes for Bows and One-hand Swords.

So for me, when Dex is maxed, I would add Str to my blacksmith next, so as to achieve maximum potential for my one-hand swords. In time to come, when we can max our second stat, My Blacksmith will be able to specialise in one-hand swords, two-hand swords, Bows and bowguns.

@Odin , by the way, the pot gained for magic devices from Int is halved of that gained by Staffs. So it won't be 25pot. but rather half of that.

How will I get more pot on staff? Dex or none and just hang out with uncle Techy?

 

As it is now, staffs won't get any more pot from other stats. Unless in the future there are new blacksmith skills that increases the amount of potential gained from create equipment. Otherwise, once Int is maxed, so will the pot limit of Staffs.

Another way the potential limit can be increased, is when the 4th or more stat 'slots' are released in the game. That way we can put more negative stats, and be able to have much more stat combinations which requires more potential than the current.

PS. If you only wish to specialise in staffs and nothing more, once Int is maxed, consider between Tech or Luck. Tech increases chances of creation success, while luck increases chances of obtaining a slotted created equipment.

 

Yeh I figured as such. Techy it will be then. As I would rather have sucess and it will give a chance of slot too (being successful in all). Or at least this is what I've found. Could be just me.
