the magician ring is a special item and is considered one of the most valuable items in toram so far
the magician ring gives the following effects
Maxmp 1000+
-25% Atk
-25% Matk

to aquire this ring you need to make at blacksmith in sofya
items needed to make ring:
99 pebbles (party is suggested) from piedra monster in Rakau plains

Personally,the ring isn't really worth it.Really.
Okay...maybe for the start of the game maybe,but late game you have...
- Survival skilltree (MP and HP boost skills)
- Crystal Earrings* (300 MP)
- Possibly lvl 10 Charge? (Mage skilltree)
- Your badges/rings from MQ
- More badges/rings like the Aristocrat ring** (Only 400 MP,but at least the penalty for using it is lower than Magician ring)
* Crystal earrings from Silver Roar,a miniboss you can fight with a good enough party
** Aristocrat ring is from the famous Small Article quest (Deliver 30 Small Articles) as a reward
Yeahh...with so many ways to get MP,this ring is only for the people too lazy to grind or charge every few minutes XD

 

I agree that it's not a End Game kind of ring, but I wouldn't say it's not worth owning.
It's by far the best ring for leveling up Combo points and also serves it's purpose as a MP pool for Support characters. Or tanks when they find themselves with a surplus of MP due to a support not getting hit. In situations like those for Tanks and Supports I find it fairly useful. DPS that know how to use their combo skills should avoid this like a plague though. As 600 MP is plenty in most cases this patch.

 

Agreed,though I have 900 MP for farming/boss killing. Idk if it's too much but it does the job I guess...
