Sad that they felt that way, and hopefully this gets put to good use again!
Okay, so Cd, Lrd/Srd, Unseathe and Ele% all acts the the same way.
They just got different activation criteria is all.
Meaning Unleathe 20%, Ele20% and Cd20 will result in same damage multiplier.
So the question really boips down to:
Should I get Atk% or Everything else.
about unsheathe, ele, and CD, if you calculate it separately, then it will result in the same damage increase. But if you start to calculate it at once then you will see that flat CD will give lower damage result compared to the same number of another damage multiplier.
here's the simple example:
I have 60k base damage, it unsheathe and have 20% unsheathe, and inflict critical (please ignore another variable)
then the calculation:
60K * 1.5 [From base Critical Damage] * 1.2 [From unsheathe%] = 108K total damage
Let's compare it with 60K base damage, it didnt have unsheathe% stat but have +20 CD and it inflict critical (please ignore another variable too)
60K * (1.5 [From base CD] + 0.2 [From CD stat]) = 60K * 1.7 = 102K total damage
About ATK% or the other stat, it would depend on the Weapon you use since each weapon have different WATK, ATK gained from stat, and multiplier for the skills, thus come another variable, which is monster stat, in this case is monster DEF. But in general use it never hurt to have an extra ATK% since it will increase damage directly, tho it's different matter when we're talking if it will be efficient to have

umm i need help im kinda having a problem with the formulas (just used calc)
my stats are
skill constant 100
multiplier is 4
don yeti as test mob
my final damage becomes 22m which is pretty impossible
i want some enlightenment on how to properly calculate the damage since op didnt put examples hope i get a positivw response. tia
edit: did not include last dmg modif, proration, combo multipliers, gem, guard, and lethargy
(3122 + 100) * 4 * 2.83 * 1.61 * 1.29 * 1.65 = 124988

So... For mage, what is better to get in gear to maximise skills damage like Storm* and Finale, INT flat / %, or MATK flat / %?
I readed but don't understand MATK, its for basic AutoAtak DMG? or it does increases Mage Skills DMG?
Any response? what works better for stats on mage INT or MATK?
Auto Atk is always calculated by ATK, except in case of mercenary.
MATK = ( some constant + 4 INT )
%MATK means additional that much MATK over existing MATK
So, your question is...
Depends on what x, INT, MATK% and INT% are
At 300 INT and 1207 = x, MATK 10% is better than INT 10%
Oh, i see, i was confused about Auto Attack being calculated by MATK / ATK damage so higher the level and INT flat becomes almost nonexistent, being more effective MATK % ratter than INT%
In this order a LV-210 Mage (INT=255+) must focus on this?:
MATK% > INT% > MATK flat > INT flat
