Since combo 2 is a buff extender, instead of issen>warcry(save)>flash blast(cons)>tenryu(swift), it should be

Reflex(safer distance)/issen>warcry(save)>flash blast(swift)>tenryu(swift). Because tenryu costs 1 mp and you already have combo 1 to set up tenryu the first time.

I think it's worth it to learn zantei for any katana build, if only level 1. More and more bosses nowadays spam boss epicenter spikes aoe, lasers, and wave attacks, not to mention there's also those multiple miniboss fights like shampy and his minions' aoe spamming, 3rd megiston's 3rd round with multiple minibosses, seraph machina miniboss, anniversary event's hero potum and friend, etc. It's really hard to use magadachi to extend tenryuu in these kind of fights as most of the time you're getting hit by all kinds of attack every second, even with a tank present. Having an ability to deal armor break is also beneficial to weaken some bosses, like yelb's super armor for example

But u remind me that zantei is important and need to be added like.. now

Is Flash blast is a good skill to spam until lvl 150? If yes should I focus on evasion gear or DPS gear?

 

Flash blast is only to add unsheathe atk by 10%
I recommend to focus on dps gear

Some feedback from a newb, hope no one feel offended.
I think kairiki will work out great for this build. If you lack skill points then lv5 or even lv1 zantei and lv5 kairiki will work otherwise lv10 kairiki and zantei.
You can use it with your buff combo too.
Pulse blade-warcry(save)-flashblast(tag)-kairiki(save)-tenryu(swift)
Maga+tenryuu and repeat

It's an elemental stats for ktn. It deals more dmg againts elemental bosses for example will be gwaimol which is an earth element boss. The stat of the Katana you will use for it will be Fire element with 14% more dmg againts earth stat. Elemental Katana is stronger than A7cccd17 Katana the only downside will be you'll need 6 different weapons each element and an a7cccd17 one for neutral type bosses.

So far what i know is:
For weapon: Natural HP regen%, Natural MP regen, Dodge, Mdef%, and Def%
For armor: Matk%, M.pierce%, and Accuracy

 

why would a katana build need six different elements weapons?? can someone illuminate on that??

 

You dont *need* six different weapons, but to do maximum damage you need a katana for every situation. If you hit an enemy with an element its weak against you do 25% more damage, so it is to maximize damage against bosses. It's why bow does a lot of damage because it can get its element from the arrow so it can use a nuetral weapon and still get the 25% damage increase from element arrow. Since katana doesnt have that luxury to manage this you need 6 different element katanas.

If you dont feel like investing that much nuetral is probably fine since it's all around.
