Tonfa and amoeba machina

I wonder how hard to get tonfa? I spent hours and couple books but still didn't get one. Feel like tonfa wasn't for me
Any idea alternative weapon for dps knuckle or I should try more?

After 3 hours solo farm and 3 books, I finally got it

 

Probably just sucky RNG. You don't get it when you wanted it. You get it when you least expect it. At least that's how some things happen for me. Never personally farmed Amoeba so idk. Keep trying doesn't seem to be a bad option either, I guess..

 

Do fast kill on amoeba with books.

Honestly, keep farming Amoeba (hang in there and don't be de-motivated). This knux will stay strong for a long while. The latest player made knux is only around 57% atk compared to Tonfa, and Tonfa has atk% as well as cdmg stats on it too.

 

Yeah I guess. I don't expect got ganglef, bkod and lavalda but suddenly it's appears in my bag without I even notice lol

My guild mate already lose their faith for helping me farm tonfa. I can take amoeba down by myself but it's take awhile since my top dmg to amoeba only around 200k with chariot

 

Try to make pt with this setup
1 agro holder , 2(3)cf . For fast killing

 

you can still make a very effective knuck character without tonfas, in fact even with cheap gear.

do you like to be in your face? do you want to sit back more?

tonfas are very strong obviously, but a good knuck is about sustaining dps and keeping proration good. on top of that, breaking, interruptinf or inflicting ailments when necessary.

i have several knuck chars that are all effective in their own way - and only one uses tonfas.

you can get to about 2.1k atk with +S crystal knuckles rn. my current one is +B and 194atk, had i not gotten rid of a york xtal i’d be at 2.04k. i’ve played this exact same way so join the club, i’ve even been told to just quit if i don’t have tonfas, hahahah
if you can’t get them then try to focus on +atk xtals whenever you can. you can do ~280-330k chariots if you prorate right with them.
depending on your build, some good xtals are pomie (a must), mardula, megiston the champion, gwaimol, tyrant.
i may switch to tonfas soon, but in no way should you be forced to do the same . soloing will take a bit more time, you can ask me things about non-tonfa knux as well.

i farmed three hours with the 250% drop rate each time, got two xtals but no tonfas, rip lol

Personally I find things drop an average of 1 out of every 10 or so with 600% or so drop rates. This is how i got a ton of bad bad tonfas that werent over 330 and carby swords (although I have no luck with books on bosses)

 

I personally don't really care about weapon atk. My tonfa only +2 from base atk, still can deal 400k+ without any buff.
I think it's better enjoy the game than worry about weapon atk.

 

Tonfas are all about weapon attack... infact that is why we upgrade past lv1 weapons.

 

If that so, def should be also important then. But why many players wear adv garb 2s?
