Very simple Dual Wield help needed!

Hello hello! I am currently level 110 with Dual Wield. I just have two Fluck swords for now which I know are not great (I will buy more useful ones when I’ve got some Spina). I know I need one with an element for my off-hand.

Can I have some very simple skill and stat help?
Simple “put your skill points here!”
How would totally rebuild at this level if you could? I’ve watched so many videos and read blogs but it’s just left me more confused.

Do I use the assassin skill tree with Dual Wield too?

My simple aim is; Really fast attacks with a solo-capable build so lots of AMPR. Two one-handed swords.

I’m currently Str Agi build but I can change this.

Happy to re-stat and re-skill entirely I bought some reset books with the free Orbs

 

If you are still lv110 and you want to reset, it's better to make a new one and restart MQ. Finishing MQ will take you to lv125 ish.

Fluck Sword is currently the best sub weapon for DW (except for wind element, Jupiter II is far ahead). I won't recommend assassin skills other than Backstep. As for builds.. Well, there are a lot of build variations. You'll have to find one that suits your playstyle, or maybe even make one yourself.

Ah hmm I will consider restarting then but I’m struggling with working out how to stat. It will be a waste if I don’t have any idea lol

Well you could always become a glass tank with Quick Auroa+GSW maybe some beserk and rampage ;D

Jokes aside
STR > Agil will be more dmg based
Agil > Str will be more aspd/motion speed

If you can't afford a 2S arm or machina Ring invest in 20-60 vit so you can skip out on needing ornlarf or deniala

Accessory i'd recommend Grecia Mask or Bat waist suit or Skirt Belt
The first two give mp and ampr and some decent stats the third is just pure ampr

Skills Dual Sword Control/Master/Godspeed/passives max those out
Cross Parry 10
Shining Cross 10
Phantom Slash for its invincibility frames keep it a 1
Impact 7 Finale 1 these are for utility
Trigger Slash 7-10, Shukuchi lvl 10 for the AMPR buff

For assassin skill tree you just need Backstep at 1

Now if you want more aspd
You can grab
Berserk, Quick Aura, Godspeed Wield, Rampage, Saber Aura,
I can't tell you what level to have one or them at since I personally don't use them enough or not at all

 

You'll be 125 after either Fluck or Zelbuse and 129 after fighting Seele Zauga with just doing MQ ^^

As for poster's question in terms of tank/survival capability Agi main is better than Str main.

 

Tfw someone asks for a simple help but doesnt realize his question itself requires a complex answer. xD

DS builds can vary a lot depending on the person you ask. Some use Decoy Shot, some don't. Some use Magic:Impact, some don't. (which is kinda weird unless they don't use Shining Cross) Some use Godspeed Wield, some don't. Some use Flash Blast as their main source of damage (*cough*me*cough*) and some don't.

Here's the main things I take away from all the builds i've seen so far:

They all have Shadow Step at either Lv7 or Lv10.
Most builds have Shukuchi at Lv1 for ampr boost and uses it to quickly approach their targets.
Most have Shining Cross.
Most have Phantom Slash.(i don't)
A lot of the builds have Spinning Slash Lv10.
Magic:Impact builds usually have Magic:Finale Lv1 as a combo ender.(some dont rely on it)
Agi DW players are tempted to use Berserk because they rely on Sub hand weapon as their source of dps and Berserk's debuff only works on your main hand weapon's stability.


And that's about it for the most common features on all DW builds.

 

DEX, AGI, STR
all dual sword skills, especially the passive ones.
Sword Mastery and Quick Slash from blade skills.

Assassin Stab is too weak with dual swords, it's not worth the cost.
Backstep is lackluster compared to Shadowstep.
Evasion and Serum are good support skills, but you won't have the skill points to take them.
short version: no.

max AGI, wear light armor with aspd boosting stats

Shadowstep

 

Dex is a big no for DW unless you're gonna use blade skills as main DPS.
Backstep and Shadowstep is for different situations. You can't just say one is worse than the other.

 

This is really useful thank you for the simple real down of info! I am actually Agi Str build (not quite maxed Agi but maybe I will now. I can’t afford 2S at the moment so I may just add Vit next as you recommend.

I’ll try and get those additionals to play around with too, it was difficult to search for a list of all add gear so that’s super helpful!!

Thank you, I will continue working on maxing out my AGI stat. I need to get better armour, so far I have light Soldier armour with some Crit and attack stats (not those ones with max, they’re expensive!!)
