Hello, I'm just wondering if there are any viable hybrids with bow or bowgun main. The only thing I'm seeing is katana sub, but can dagger work? What about knuckle? And if so, are there any good builds out there?

Bowgun Dagger works fine for me. Spike Dart for a reliable slow on Bowgun is nice and Gatling Knife more or less replaces Snipe and has some cool applications. Like Swifted Gatling Knife being one of the shortest animations in the game. Daggers like Empress Knife, Fallen Angel, Rock fang, ect. are also pretty nice.

There are definitely downsides though, not large one's but you should know them beforehand.
    • Snipe builds use up far fewer skill points, since Snipe is on the same skill branch as Crossfire. (You'll still have plenty of points leftover though so it's not to big of a deal)
    • If you want to use elements you'll have to buy/make elemental bowguns. Which isn't too terrible if you're hunting a few bosses every patch and slowly expand your collection patch by patch. Bowguns luckily have some of the best choices in elements for enchanting custom crossbows...except for a Light crossbow...we really need a updated Light element bowgun >_>.
    • If you don't want to use elemental crossbows, just use a A7CCC or Dex7CCC, just realize you won't have free elemental advantage to go with it.
    • Arrows give more stability and bonus attack than most of your daggers will give you. Which is important for Crossfire Damage.
I'm sure there's a few more but those are the most glaring issues i've experienced. All manageable, but they take some effort to overcome. Luckily enough Gatling Knife is pretty good, and you won't mind adding AGI later to make it stronger, unless you want to move towards CRT or VIT as a third stat. Oh, and having Spike Dart is pretty nice as well.

magic bowguns are also pretty good.
since they gain their full atk potential just from DEX, which is also the secondary stat for magic, they can reach maximum atk and matk with just 2 stats. (all other weapons need 3 or 4 stats for that)

dagger bowguns can also work with assassin skills, since backstep doesn't hinder them from attacking.

gun fu has a similar advantage to magic bowguns. reaching maximum atk with just DEX, they can use AGI for speed and dodge and boost martial skills.

shields are the best defense, if you invest in them.

arrows are less effective than on bows. if you use them with a bowgun, you better add hunter skills. they get boosted by arrows and the bowgun's stat growth of DEX and INT gives them a power advantage over bows with enchanted arrows and the trap skills.

Bowgun + shield is really OP in my opinion. You can equip a vulcan shield to help with snipe's crit rate reduction, and it even gives you extra ASPD. Neing that you can use decoy shot much easier than any non-ranged build, you can ise your infinite source of MP to spam P.Defense, so they make good tanks as well as attackers, but obviously if you tank it's hard to use cross fire.
