Well two hand weapon gives more damage is for attackers instead of tanks
so I would suggest new brutal armor and cape and crown

I've tried many builds on swordie. This includes both 1h and 2h. If you're going full dmg, both have pretty much identical builds, aside from str/dex stats.

Forr sword skills, at the very minimum, you should have passives maxed, and astute maxed. Battle skills don't give much additional attack at the moment, but keep in mind there's a crit buff available, once lvl.2 skill tree opens up. Survival skill tree is optional, so is charge.

Currently, the goblin boss drops a nice 2h, which if fairly easy to obtain. Wolf Garb (boss version, light remodeled) still gives me 200+ more aspd than new Dragon Armor (boss version, light remodeled). However, d.armor gives +crit, don't know if it really effect crit rate much though. For additional equip, there's many to choose from depending on your preference; red aspd cape, crystal earrings, old cloak, just the ones at the top of my head. Special equip is also on preference, magician ring to spam attacks, str/dex talisman for a bit of mana but no -atk. The new mission quest gives a slotted ring +400mana too.

Hi. Been following this post for sometime. Im just wondering if how many skill points (as of this current lvl cap) do u guys have? I have approximately 65 SPs atm. Another thing, do you add stat points to Crit? Or still prefer pure Dex build?

 

I currently have 76 skill points. Adding crit is based solely on if you want to have a higher crit rate. Atm, I'm still going pure dex, will probably start adding crit after lv.70+, not too sure yet.

I see, may i ask how you get that many skill points? I was searching my emblems and i made most of the skill point bonus emblems. Yeah doubt if 10 stats on crit would make a difference. im just concerned on the skill points now since based on what i see here on your builds, you got more skill points to use atm.

 

I believe, I obtained a few from alpha testing. Also, there's hidden emblems not shown on list.

There are also emblems for boss farming, if ur the best attacker, tank, support or breaker. Be the best 10x at one of these and u get 1 skill point, be 100x and u get 5 status points.

 

Yup achieved those except the support one.

 

Sorry, the list is so long. I don't know which ones are the hidden ones. Here's a few of the +sp ones, don't know if they're hidden ones though.

Play 1/2/3/4/5/6 hours consecutively +1 sp each
Learn 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 skills +1 sp each
Revive/heal the dead 100 times (either +1 or +5sp, forgot)

 

Never give up emblem>1 skill point
K.O and get up over and over

 

Yay this is very useful I have to try it. Anyway regarding the Crit Stat, I placed 15 points in it and it seems not to affect crit rate as much.

 

Does leveling some skills only increases damage or it also gives them better utility like lv 10 hardhit breaks often or lv 10 trigger slash gives more MP per hit?

 

Correct, some skills have reduced mana cost too.

Astute Lvl 10 (maxed)

 

So far, you're looking good. A few basic recommendations would be...(assuming you're going full damage output)

• Concentrate on getting to lv.40+
• Max the sword skill tree passives
• Battle skills are optional {more for late game}
• Brutal Dragon Sword (boss version) {+500aspd +500cspd}
• Wolf Garb (boss version - light remodeled) {gives +200aspd over B.D.Armor(boss version - light remodeled)}
