Angel told me ur strugglin with ur warrior build. So i came to help ya. Skills:hard hit 5 points. astute 10 points. trigger slash 6 points why 6 points? Because it costs 200 mp instead of 300 at lvl 5. Sword mastery 10 points. Quick slash 10 points. Sword technique 10 points. Then get survival skill tree. Get safe rest 5 points. Hp boost 10 points. And ur good for now until lvl cap gets raised and i suggest you use str and crit instead of dex because that way you can use both 2h and 1h whenever you wish im str and crt at lvl 43 i do 8k with astute (smite on combo) with 1h on wolf boss and 9-11k on boar boss with 2h astute(smite) and i dont use any special equips. No xtals either no refinement too.

 

Hey, how many str and crit pts exactly for what level you are at? im really interested to see if its worth resetting my stat points over, cuz currently im pure dex and i only do limited like say 3.3k dmg to bosses atm with brutal dragon sword

 

101 str the rest crit i do up to 8-9k with 1h on wolf boss with my hard hit(1500-3k - astute(smite 8-9k) - trigger slash(1-2k consecutive) combo takes up only 200mp and the same combo for 2h but takes 300mp instead and way higher dmg like astute with smite can go up to 14k i believe

 

Hmm ok thank you. I will have to try that out sometime. Im just skeptical about it right now because i only have one stat reset book

 

Dont worry use my build i dont even use any xtals or anythin special no enchantments either

 

ok i did it. on bd dragon boss i do 4.4k astute smite crits which is better than what i was doing, but i dont think my skills were that good, for example my hard hit is level 10 and my trigger slash is lvl 1 lol

 

Well...I just want to say that I believe there's 2 type of warriors ._. The tank and the dps
The tank is normally a 1 H user w/shield while on the other hand...
The dps is the 2h weapon warrior. (Usually focus on Atks)
I haven't read all of the post so I apologize of there's already a post related to mines.

 

Any tips for pure. 2hand users skill builds etc

 

Hmmm...pure 2h users! I like that.
As for the stat I'd go for Pure Str for maximum dps
Skills: (I'm currently using)
10 Astute
5-10 SonicDash/Blade
10 Hard hit
10 Sword Mastery
And a few Mp Recharge too.

Equip: Forest Wolf Garb (I prefer atk speed)
Weaponry: Boss Goblin Sword (ik there's better ones x3 now)
Head gear: Brutal Dragin Crown (1 slot) or Crystal Earring for more mp
Ring: Before I use to have the MagicianRing (1000 mp, the reason I use mp charge) but you can go with Str/Dex ring too...or agi for extra asped (atk speed)

 

Frust, why use trigger slash? For boss first isnt Sonic dash better?

 

Is quick slash needed to be lvd?

 

How to build 1h sword ?

 

I'm building a pure 2h. 2h plays different than 1h and I agree, warriors can be sub-divided into 2 classes (or styles).

Stat
Str:98 (Up to the point I can unlock last stat)
Crt: 24 (Currently)

Skills: (Active)
Hard Hit Lv10
Asute: Lv10
Sonic Blade: Lv10 (AOE. Lv10 will cover the width of the hallway in Ruin Temple Floor 2)
MP Charge: Lv1 (1 is sufficient)

Skills: (Passive)
Sword Mastery: Lv10
Quick Slash: Lv10
Sword Techniques: Lv6 (in progress)

Equip:
Boss Gob (Advise against Volcanic because of the Crit penalty, even though I havent tried /tested it)
Forest Wolf Garb (Remodel Light for attack speed)
Bandana (Still trying to figure out a goods additional. BD Cape is good, but don't like the looks... personal preference)
Magician's Ring

There is a skill (forgot name) down the Knight tree that gives a parry chance that does not work with Guard. This is a 2h's defense to attempt to reduce damage or parry attach with the sword.

I find this build fun, because I can AOE grind effectively. Just aim for straight lines with Sonic Blade, if a few mobs survive first hit, lure them back in a straight line and hit them again. Therefore, Magician Ring is essential. The pebbles are well worth the grind ^^

*PS I managed to pull a 8K with Asute, but I think it was a Critical hit though. If people here are talking about a 7K normal hit and 14K crit (someone said that a few posts above), then I have no idea how they do it. Share, maybe? Not holding poster accountable or anything, just curious.

 

Guys I'm using a one hand sword and my build is 30+ ago 20+ex 20+vit but now I'm lvl 37 and I'm gonna be adding all my stats to dex from now on. Is this a bad build? If yes how can I reset my stat?

 

Everyone going full str better hope that when we get to higher levels you dont miss as much. I feel like accuracy is gonna play a big role in the future. 1hand sword is superior!

 

DEX and STR are both important.
I am 1h sword and shield player.I use this methods to balance them
+5 STR then +1DEX

 

DPS: which is better, 1h or 2h?
I understand by sheer number, 2h might be higher, but its like a burst dmg due to lack of mp or slow regen. Having said that, wouldnt a 1h dps be more consistent overtime? (bec of spammed combo due to low mp cost and fast regen bec of aspd)

 

I'd like 1h sword because it has atk , can equip shield & higher atk speed....

 

will crystal on secondary doesn't count
