Weapon Stating atk7cd7cr18cr18% vs atk7cd18cr18cr18%

So I was wondering, which stats is better for weapon.
1) attack 7%, crit dmg 7% crit rate +18,+18%
Or
2) atk7%, crit dmg+18, crit rate +18,+18%
Or
3) full crit 18
Or is there some better variant that I missed?

 

Depends on class and stat setup since not all classes benefit the same way.

 

Atk7% Str7% CD7% is best

 

If you have to compromise between CD7% and CD18, CD18 would give you an additional 4-8% more crit damage depending on your STR stat.

For every 5 STR stat, you get 1% crit damage.

If you have 255 STR, CD18 gives you 4% more crit damage than CD7%

At level 1:
Critical Rate = 25%
Critical Damage = 150%

CD1 will add 1% to your Critical Damage of 150%
So if I equip an armor with CD10:

Critical Rate = 25%
Critical Damage = 160%

CD1% will add 1% of your previous Critical Damage modifier to itself

So if I equip CD7% armor:

Critical Rate = 25%
Critical Damage = 150 + 0.07 * 150 = 150 + 10 = 160% (Decimal values will be rounded down)

What if we have 255 Str?

Critical Rate = 25%
Critical Damage = 150 + 255/5 = 150 + 51 = 201

Now, if we equip armor with CD18:
Critical Rate = 25%
Critical Damage = 201+18 = 219%

If we equip armor with CD7%:
Critical Rate = 25%
Critical Damage = 201 + 0.07*201 = 201 + 14 = 215%

So CD18 > CD7%

Atk 7% > CD7%?

Yes.

Suppose your ATK is 100
With ATK 7%, it becomes 107
When you crit, your damage is 107 * 1.5 = 160

With CD7%,
When you crit your damage is 100 * 1.6 = 160

Suppose your ATK is 1000
With ATK7%, it becomes 1070
When you crit, your damage is 1070*1.5 = 1605

With CD7%
When you crit your damage is 1000*1.6=1600

So ATK7%>CD18>CD7%

A7cdcrcr18 wins hands down in almost all situations.

 

Most of 2h on board are A7S7CD7%
With a decent Crit Equip, A7S7CD7 is the best choice.

Is a7cd7cd18 possible? If so yes, it would be the best. I didnt see one yet. But I haven't been playing for a long time.

 

777 needs 60 pot for being 100% while acdcd7718 only needs 50-ish pot for 100% (forgot exact, either 51 or 54). That is much better and as @Barzeft said, it is mainly class dependant. For a bow acdcrcr will profit most of the time, while for a HB acdcd will be the best. So, without being ambiguous it's better to specify the weapon you're inquiring about. Also, the stats for maximum output mainly depends on your build and what you want to achieve with them, so that's another thing

 

What @Demonwar mentioned is exactly my point. The question is too vague since thread poster didn't mention weapon, character stat setup or skills used and if we don't know what they're using we can't really help much. Full crit is better if you lack crit stat but have a cdmg setup, a7cd18crcr18 is better for classes like bow, a7cd7cd18 and ascd7 are better for 2H because they don't lack crit usually.
