what’s the best martial skill?

as of right now i’m a lv95 brawler and triple kick is the best of my skills. i can do around 24k-30k damage as a base and i see people only level tk to 5, why is that? heavy smash is a really popular skill as well and i would like to know why, mine is really weak. in general i would like to know more about this class because i don’t want to ruin my character and start all over again.
while i’m at it could anyone tell me about brawler proration?? i don’t know what magic skills i have to maximize my physical damage and i don’t want to be a sucky team member.

 

heavy smash deals bonus damage when the target has armor break (from shell break). and if shell break succeeds in inflicting armor break, it recovers 400mp (which is the cost for heavy smash).

all martial skills are physical. you have to use magic for magic.
and since knuckles have the same matk growth as magic weapons, it's more powerful than with other physical weapons.

 

People only take level 5 triple kick because of the level 150 skills (e.g. rush and chariot)

rush hits 4 times and could hit prob up to 100k per hit (400k total) on certain bosses while chariot is a single aoe line burst damage attack (could be evaded by bosses if they dash around like ultimate machina)


For magic skills, Magic Impact might do the trick for you since you get both javelin and magic impact (which are both instant cast, level 1 for instant cast javelin, level 7 for instant cast magic impact) to offset your physical prorate

though i highly dont suggest using javelin in a combo since it takes forever and a half to cast it

Rush 100Kx4 is kind of special build, you need a good support team and buff and perhaps with element weapon with full damage boost gear.

Rush for normal build (say no slot no xtal no buff no smite) the damage will be around 10k-15k per hit. With +B weapon AC3 and some other CD gear+xtal it’s will be around 30K-50k depend on combo use.

So do not expect Brawler DPS, it’s more like balance build for everything.

If you don’t have any 150 character yet, Heavy smash and Triple kick is your main DPS, you LVL10 is needed unless you have a good friend/guild to leech you, but I think this is what you try to avoid right?

There is an emblem give BOO that allow you to reset all skill, use it after 150 if you decide to remove Tkick and Hsmash. Or you may wait for next free reset skill(if toram have skill adjustment again).

 

Best martial skill for me would be shellbreak and triplekick.

Shellbreak because of its defense piercing power, 400mp return and damage boost during armor break.

Triplekick for it's reliable critical rate. If only we can have it as a buff like astute does, then we'll be happy for a rush/chariot follow up. ^_^

 

Rush,smash,sonic wave are my favorites and im neutral when it comes to chariot... having 100% interruption is what i like *^*
im a balance build yet can deal decent amount of dmg...
im kinda getting the point why suzuki still doesnt rework knux stat:atk ratio.. they want brawler to be speed type yet.. YET THEY DIDNT GAVE EM DECENT MOTION/ASPD BUFF LIKE GSW OR BERSERK! FFS ASOBIMO!
my build is atk-aspd-survival type and for me its my best build ever xD(knux shield master race)

edit: currently i’m leveling up, trying to save up skill points! i see the use of heavy smash now but as of right now i only have around 1.3k mana. i have to save it up somehow and shellbreak+heavy smash is kind of costly. but thank you all

 

right now i’m focusing on getting skills like gattling knife, magic:impact and warcry. but thank you for letting me know that before i changed my skills up again! i’m playing solo for now and i’m just a little paranoid that i’ll mess my character up. this is the furthest i’ve gotten in an asobimo game and i love toram a lot. i’m really glad the community is so friendly and willing to share tips .

 

triple kick is my best skill too . it’s always helpful when there’s a boss i want to fight and they’re ailment reactive. it sucks how every one of your first martial skills stuns, flinches and tumbles and a lot of bosses go berserk afterwards. shellbreak is great as well but not as reliable as triple kick is for me. it ranges anywhere from 2k-30k (30k only so often) while triple kick ranges 9k-35k damage. maybe as i get to the higher levels it’ll be more even

 

ohmygosh, my hp is so low compared to yours. you’re about 45 levels above me and have nearly 9k hp when im just hitting 2k. OTZ.
smash and sonic wave are my main combo (unfortunately i found out the other day that that was why all the previous boss fights were so hard,, i always rushed into battles and just hit them with that combo first) and i’m thinking of changing it to better things now. also if it’s not a hassle, is agi really important to max out first or should i balance it as i go? i don’t want to have zero accuracy but all the damage in the world nor do i want to be weak and frail and be able to hit everything. builds are pretty uniform and i’m not sure of what to do. as you can see i’m a potion seller’s best friend. my hp’s at 1888 and it’s not a great thing when fighting proto leon or [insert literally any boss]

 

im using hp gears that time. i recommend using hp gear.. and for hit rate. Go for crt gears.. if u have 100 crt rate ur only enemy is crt resistant boss and evasion.. as u lvl up u will gain more stat points which u can put in other stats but i recommend on maxing the agi first

when u met the latest boss farm her she has a good drop knux which gives +25 crt rate.
