What are some good combos only using sword skills?

Precisely why I asked I couldn't really find any info on pure blade combos.
In which cases would you not want to flinch? Is there a hidden mechanic behind it?

So far, Hard Hit seems like the best choice for an opening skill, War Cry as a save skill, and Tempest as a damage skill.

 

Some Boss guards or triggers evasion by flinching..Some counters too so not advisable for efficient farming..

If no flinch's needed i'd like to recommend this : Astute>Trigger Slash(save)>Sword Tempest(smite)>War Cry(consecutive).
make sure the trigger slash under lvl6 to make it 3mp combo, fast motion sword tempest from trigger slash effect W W W

doesnt tempest counts as a magic attack? the bullet and also the whirlwind? so doing some physical prorate should increase the damage… cmiiw

Nope tempest is magic only when it changes the proration. When it does damage it calculates the physical proration.
It is complicated but the base line is if you use too many physical skills it will still reduce tempest while if you keep using only tempest again and again it will increase the damage output.

Would DW skills count? I mean if you initiate with cross parry then put in all your buffs into one combo then it would probably be plausible.
Cross-parry > Astute(cons) > Reflex(cons)/Flashblast(cons) > Trigger slash/Sonic blade(cons)
But then again don't take my advice too seriously cause I'm new to Toram. xD

Not as easy as you think: Rampage still cannot be used while its buff is active. If you want to use Rampage as a save tag, it's best used either in a buffer combo or a setup + DPS combo.

 

The best way to use a rampager would be to have two separate combos. One of the combos would have rampage as a saver (or the smited skill if it's affected by save) and the other one could use war cry or impact as a saver. Just imagine if you had trigger slash at the end of both of those combos, rampage + trigger slash would probably give people more AMPR than they need, lol.

 

I like rampage besides it easily being interrupted it goes well with my type of char build tempest to mainstream so I barely even use it multiple small combos do me more justice than those smite ones I save a smite for when the boss near death to off it quickly
