Nah I havent play this game since December, and this is new stuff for me.

Honestly, I fell kinda disappointed at ASOBIMO, but oh well, I can't do anything either

You didn't have much to lose within one Chapter, but considering you seem to be new to Toram, the rollback might've been rough on you.

Anyways, good luck with progressing.

 

One chapter is only worth.. Like 1 hour. So many players lost progress that's worth days (or maybe weeks). You should find a friend who has a strong mercenary, MQ should be a breeze (or at least before Venena). You can always change boss difficulty to easy if you can't beat it on normal.

You could always buy a merc under Menu->Party->"Hire a mercenary with Spina"
It only costs equal to your level (e.g. lvl 127 costs 127 spina), just kill a few monsters and sell their drops

As for what kind of merc, I recommend a 2HS if you still don't do enough damage on easy mode

 

Could also join an active guild for multiple mercs or ask Jerry here who mains a 2H to be your friend in game so you can use his merc. As Jerry said personally I actually lost weeks worth of progress but since I've done it before and have helpful friends/guild members I can redo it in less time.
