What elemental sub-weapon would you recommend?

I have 1 or 2 3rd Anniv Sword with 213 Atk, 60 pot which I intend to stat and use as my DW's sub-weapon.
Which elements and/or stats would you recommend I stat them with?

Note: My DW build is full Agi > Dex > Str + 50 Vit (yeah, lower "firepower" in exchange for better survivability )

I typically go w/Dark or Light, I can't remember the thread/info correctly but I choose those over the rest b.c they don't really do much or less when up against other elements and only really do stuff against one another.
then I add Stab%/Atk% not that it does anything really, but jfc then random stronger against blablabla element if I feel like it then refine to +C if possible I go higher.

TLDR element more of what you prefer kinda, dmg to elm if u'd like or stab/atk%, Refine +C/B is enuff if possible go higher! Go for it! ;D somethin bout having a sub doing mor dmg than ur main is saxy imo

I had my player crafted Zahhak Sword stat-ed with Dark/Light element and +14% dmg to ele before the event already
So I guess I'd be stat-ting them with Dark and/or Light (I'm guessing Aso's gonna throw in more bosses with Dark or Light elements)

Anyway, I had my main stat-ted with Atk+7%, CR+15, CD+15, Dex+14/15 so I'd have better Hit+Crit Rate and stability.
I've also refined my main and subs to +C too.

I'm gonna use the sub for elemental damage, since I feel that's the more optimal/efficient method DW's mechanics allowed.
I have no problems killing mobs in 1 short combo. The real deal's with hitting the bosses as reliably (and fast) as possible and moving out of boss' attacks.

 

Np~ I saw the thread and was mildly amused no reply yet so I responded lol, I try not to be "active" in threads but that DEX part got me excited X'D, it's not a bad stat to invest in tbh just you gotta know how it works/how much u need currently and how it'll work in the long run

Ey atk% <3 cr cd <3, tho for the dex part, idk how much you invested in Dex, I try not to invest anymore into Dex cause 120-140 (290-330 accuracy about) is enuff for now till like later caps , If you're not relying on any stab gears like york party glasses and such. Tho less graze if you invest more into Dex or stab gear so whoop whoop! I'd start going for STR since it benefits both main and sub I think of it as the "balancer" stat , and a lil stab tho idk how much I'm too bootleg for that. Just my thoughts from sticking with a Tri Stat build with a high Dex investment, qvq not belittling that Dex stat on wep

Don't forget Auto Canceling!!! But yeah, Element fasho the way togo to get more oof/dmg tho along with speed

 

Oh, I have 120 Dex on char stat, +14 Dex on 1 gear, One-Winged Headband Add gear (+4 Dex, Acc+30) + Gespenst II xtal (Acc+30, CR+10).
I have 372 Accuracy in total, so that's sufficient for now I guess.

With Dex stats, I can also use Blade skills in my combo, such as Astute (boost CR), Hard Hit (flinching) and Buster Blade (ranged attack + 1k hp heal) for some damage as well as utility.

Since my DW has 120(+14) Dex, it also has 1274 CSPD. This means casting magic is potentially "fast enough" (like Mini Heal?) in battle.
I'm playing with the idea of getting Mini Heal skill or StarGem for non-time restriction healing, unlike Buster Blade's 10sec cooldown.
Mini Heal only costs 100mp and DW has the advantage of recovering that 100mp fast with its high ampr.

And yep, I'll be adding Str stats too, if new bosses don't evade or get grazed too often for my liking. It's pointless to have high firepower when hits keep missing. LOL

 

Um.. For Subhand, only ELEMENT works, nothing else, right?

Anyways, my suggestion for what element your subweapon should have is.. whatever it is that you battle the most just to get that +25% advantage.

 

If u have cake knife make it ur main hand
And for sub go with elemental sets only stab and atk and element work so go elements and +3%stab

 

only base weapon stab works on sub. sub3% is a stat and doesnt work.
