What is the cheapest magic atk for proration?

Hi,
I'm playing Katana and just did some research about proration.
Seems like ppl recommend Impact for magic attack but it cost total 22 skill points to get.

Any other fast/cheper option?

 

Impact is best possible choice for magic prorates as only limited skill which inflict magi prorates (normaly from magic skill), other than that is spinning slash but exclusive to dual wield user.
Alternatively you can hire mercenary to do normal atk prorates for you, you will get same prorates bonus from 1x impact for physical within 1x auto atk after all

I'm also considering Mercenary and Pet option.
Spending 22 skill pts for prorate is not worth it imo, also doesn't work with party farming.

 

imho, other than prorates impact give you one more advantage, that was a buff which reduce mp consumption of next skill.
impact->zantei/hasso(smite)->any skill(cons) is typically fast combo execution for katana, usually with zantei when you're on red circle area. good for reducing mp cost of zantei without save or cons so you can use smith tag and you don't get damage penalty, and ofc give prorates too.

 

Get magic javelin. it's easy to get, fast and u can also buy it from cb at around 800k.

 

magic arrows and sleep trap
both are 1mp 1st tier starter skills, so they have minimal sp cost

sleep trap cannot be used in combo, but recovers it's own cost if it hits.
but it can be destroyed by AoEs
