What should I do first, stat or refine?

    I just bought a clean Sinergatis for my 2h with @221 60pot for 99k. Apparently it has no stats so I'm not using it yet *~*
    I have no spina to stat it yet but I have a low level refine blacksmith. I thought of refining it first to +10 or something
    Whatev bla bla bleugh
    my question is;
    Would something happen If I refine first before statting my weapon? kinda worried lmao rip noob

    sn; if u know any 2h build with rampage as main dps skill hit me up

    nothing. most ppl like to refine on a clean wep because it's said to be "easier" or if u're using hammers n u break it, u won't lose the stat u already placed on it. but in the end it doesnt really matter if u refine it first or stat it first...unless u're using hammers where it causes u to lose ur item when it breaks

    It's nice to refine first before statting even though it doesn't really matter that much unless you use stuff that can poof your equip, got it!

    wow that really sucks. degration ok but i didnt know we can loose item or stats at refine:eek:
    is it possible to make it +10 w/o a blacksmith char? n whats max refine level? hope u dont mind i askt that here thx ^^

    Learned it the hard way :p. You only lose the item if you use those bloody hammers when refining.

    Your item is 221 base atk, lower than standard item (222),
    It's categorized as low class item (normal anvil),

    Refine those item easier than any red (or gold) anvil which has base atk +10 or more.

    So it doesn't matter, if you refine it after stated it.
    But one basic, that you should remember.
    If your designated stat is 100% success , better to refine it first.
    But if it's gamble, then you need stat it first then refine to prevent more lost

    1. Yes it's possible but you need a 110 lvl character to stat it thought I'm not entirely sure that's the lvl thought.
    2. Max refine you can do it +S

    Ohhhh so there are success rates in statting too?
    How can you find success rates w/ different stat sets though?
