    My pet is a magic attack type and devoted nature but I don't use Magic type for my character so I don't know what stats I should put on this pet. Also an off-topic question, how do I insert my own picture into this post without uploading it to my media first? I've seen people just insert pictures but I can't figure out how to do it.

    Magic skill damage usually scales with Int and Dex increases cspd. For Off-topic part click the Upload a file button next to Post Reply.

    Max int then Dex. Pet stats work exactly the same way ours do for their respective weapons

    you devoted pet is going to die a lot. It's its nature to headbutt into the boss without giving a shit and gain a ton of aggro. If it doesn't have enough VIT, it will die for sure.
    This is a picture of a devoted nature

    Devoted pets are high aggro generating pets, aggro performance made better if your pet use high mp magic attack skill like magic lance(800mp) and the aoe magic skill that clocks in at 600mp. Off the bat i can say that it will be a wasted pet build. Unless you are actually making a high aggro, high dps cannon fodder that is designed to last just the first 30 sec of a boss run.
    You have to face facts, pets are not that flexible in the aggro generation department. And unless you are not using sneak or regulating pet mp on your combo, the dps or the pet will suffer a down grade.

    yea, devoted is for tank pets so you really don't want to turn it into a damage dealer type.

    here is a link to all the nature bonuses: https://toramonline.com/index.php?threads/pet-natures-chart.36499/
    Note that depending on what you want to build, you may want to choose your nature accordingly. For example, Devoted is the perfect nature for tanking, which is pretty much not a discussion anymore. For damage dealer pets, you want to choose one that dodges a lot and may have a befitting bonus (depending on magic attack or physical attack pets).

    For support, I would go with gentle pets, but maybe you have a better idea.

    i've had this theory(Magic Attack pet) that i abandoned long time ago, cuz i changed my plan to raise Full VIT pet instead.

    (staff/magic attack/steady), (INT>VIT).
    and alot of pray to get these skills :
    - Blinding shadow, MP gain & Absorb HP.
    - the rest of two are Magic Lance & (either HP gain or Absorb MP) inherited by doing fusion.

    Long Ver :
    if by any chance you can get the perfect RNG through all your journey, it should be done with only 2 pets.
    - for example :
    Gangleft ONE
    (Lv150 staff/magic attack/steady)
    +10pts to all stats (gained from Lv10 careful capture).
    + all 'hard-training' success(all on INT+3) and skills.

    you might have these result:
    stats(base potentials) :
    STR.20, INT.290, VIT.50, AGI.70, DEX.80
    skills : Magic Lance Lv5.

    thus when you cap your pet, it becomes :
    stats(final) :
    STR.31, INT.500, VIT.161, AGI.106, DEX.121
    before INT hits 255, every level up you put 1pt into INT.
    after INT hits 255, every level up you put 1pt into VIT.
    skills : Magic Lance Lv10.

    IMG_20190217_165550.png

    same goes with Gangleft TWO, but replace Magic Lance with either HP gain or Absorb MP.

    then when both are capped, fusion them, done :
    Gangleft Final.
    (Lv151 staff/magic attack/steady)
    +10pts to all stats (gained from lv10 careful capture).
    + all 'hard-training' success(all on INT+3) and skills.
    + inherited skill both Lv10
    + bonus fusion 150pts all added to INT in the very start.

    stats(bonus fusion) :
    STR.+4, INT.+58, VIT.+10, AGI.+14, DEX.+16.
    stats(base potential) :
    STR.24, INT.348, VIT.60, AGI.84, DEX.96
    skills : Blinding shadowLv5, MP gainLv5, Absorb HP Lv5.

    stats(final) :
    STR.37, INT.698, VIT.219, AGI.127, DEX.145
    before INT hits 255, every level up you put 1pt into INT.
    after INT hits 255, every level up you put 1pt into VIT.

    skills : Blinding shadowLv10, MP gainLv10, Absorb HP Lv10

    IMG_20190217_165719.png
    or if Lv10 careful capture doesn't affect a fused pet, then just reduce 15pts from every stats(final).

    summoning @Lenwok as he has an OP full INT pet with a Lv10 Magic Lance. :rolleyes:

    Thanks @kucingHD :rolleyes:
    This was pretty much my intention too but i prefer Genius over Magic Attack because better stat distribution (and more vit!).

    My lvl 10 magic lance pet started at lvl cap 2, so i been working hard to raise the level cap to get back up to 150 (check my other post). If you had 2 “perfect” 150 cap pets, then it would be a lot faster than my approach :confused:
