I checked and non of them had a sub magic device but that doesn't explain why he she used the skill first.

2h one was spamming Recovery>Buster Blade and the bow only doing normal attacks while typing on keyboard, I could see the bg tanker's shield so he too can't inflict that ailment.

There was a very small period of time where element slash alone could allow neutral magic skills to crit such as Finale as long as your sub MD’s element had the advantage over the enemy’s. It was a bug that they fixed and now it’s back to needing elemental advantage on both main and sub weapons and Finale is locked to neutral.

 

So this means Finale can't crit using Weaken Debuff anymore?

 

This video is just a week ago dude.. Still latest maintenance

 

And also for weaken's mcd buff, I tested it with main sub ele and still 0% buff(with magic javlin)

Yep ^^ Element slash only applies to skills that can utilize elements. Finale is locked to neutral.
