whats the best approach to be a good 2h?

    What exactly should i be wary when making a 2h? i do only around 70k-90k of dmg if i crit my meteor breaker, heard people should be doing 250k at my level (94).

    Ofc i have mediocre equipments, just a 2h npc 3rd anniv VII +C (no slot), a FC16 armor (Iconos), tyrant mask (+5%) (200 mp), beast fang talisman (250mp). and have around 1.9k Atk atm.

    i know bad equipment but idk if i am approaching to the right way of the 2h.

    For example:

    I am a Meteor Breaker user that also uses Rampage (level 10) and Berserker as a main source of AMPR, but also my secondary source of damage.

    I do know the basics, like using impact so i dont have to counteract 6mp of mana usage when using meteor breaker.

    My 2 combos are:
    Hard Hit> Warcry (Save)> Impact (Cons)> Meteor Breaker (Smite)> Trigger Slash (Cons)
    Astute> Berserker (Save)>Rampage (Cons)> Trigger Slash (Swift)

    what should i try to do when trying to do the best dmg output? like adding berseker to the first combo? buster blade?...


    EDIT: FK wrong place, i was watching this section and posted here by mistake, sorry, can someone move it to 2H?

    You need to raise you 2h char level and a better sword, then the damage will rise.

    Oh so I just have to be high level to do damage and a better sword xd. Thanks I'll start leveling tomorrow after work

    Probably because of the combo. The save penalty is not yet exhausted so meteor dmg is not maximize even with smite tag. Also crystals and refine helps a lot.

    firstly most ppl use %150 dmg combos, your combo is only %110 dmg.
    And about your weapon it is not really good and i guess you need xtal+cdmg stat on ur weap other skills look alright

    Go to don yeti open ur rampage then auto atk 6-7 times and use impact>meteor(smite)>trigger(cons) and see ur dmg

    It could also be stability because of berserk making it low. With low stability the damage will jump from low to high.

    i use berserker and rampage as source of MP, and then i use meteor strike combo...


    Btw guys, i lengthen the combo by 2 skils and got great results!. now my combo is:

    Hard Hit> Warcry (Save)> Astute (Cons)> Buster Blade (Cons)>Impact (Cons)> Meteor Breaker (Smite)> Trigger Slash (Cons)

    now its a sure kill on mino nm (but it cost around 1 to 2 more seconds to cast astute and buster blade).

    Too much phys skills in combo... Don't forget about proration.
    Try something like this:
    Reflex[if u have, also u can use buster as opener]-bers(save)-astute(smite/swift)[need only for crit rate boost, u can use meikyo(swift) instead as filler]-war cry(cons)-impact(cons)-meteor(smite)-trigger(cons)
    Btw, 130% meteor is still good enough:
    Astute-war cry(save)-meikyo(cons)-umpact(cons)-meteor(smite)-trigger(cons)

    This is a pretty good combo. You managed to bypass the warcry(save) damage reduction penalty thus maximising your meteor damage and also use astute and warcry before meteor. And it's only 1mp, so the few seconds are worth it.
